Our friends recommended QuickSteps to us for our wedding first dance. We started our 12 private lessons 6 months before our wedding and SO fortunate that we did! We had busy months in between and didn't get to practice as much as we wanted, but Caitlin was AMAZING - very patient, attentive, gave reasonable suggestions, and reassured us along the way. You could tell she knew what she was doing : All staff were friendly and welcoming, we didn't feel out of place at all. It was comfortable and wouldn't mind coming back for the group dance sessions. Any questions we sent via text or email were answered promptly. The only minor issue we had was the parking after peak hours, so leave plenty of time to find parking if driving, and make sure to relax before class to be in the zone! Fantastic, amazing, exciting, Thankyou quicksteps for being so welcoming of everybody it’s like my second family. I love walking through the doors and feeling all my stress melt away, dancing for me is more than just dancing it’s my therapy. All staff are truely wonderful, special shout out to Kirra who makes every class fun and chooses the best music.
The hardest part of our first dance for our wedding was building up the courage to enquire about lessons! Roselyn phoned me to lock in a time that suited us straight away and I can’t remember how many times I kept repeating to her that I’m not a dancer. I was so nervous for our first trial lesson, But you are greeted with such love like you’ve always been coming and this is your home that we both instantly felt more at ease. We chose 6 private lessons in the lead up to our wedding. In our first lesson we learnt how to box step, I left feeling confident and not overwhelmed at all. Our instructor Roi was phenomenal, he slowly built up dance moves and in our last few lessons when we had our feet all worked out he helped us with our hand styling. On our wedding day I walked out onto the dance floor so confident, ready to show off our dance. I’m still not a dancer by any means but I could rip out or first dance routine anytime any place with confidence. We can’t recommend and thank Quick Steps enough for being the highlight of our wedding preparations and a time to connect with each other during a very busy time. Kirsten and Josh
Easily the best dance school in Adelaide! Friendly, welcoming staff take care of you from the moment you walk in, no matter how nervous you might be. The bar serves alcohol, among other drinks, so they only have adult students - no kids! They specialise in social dancing but do wedding dances too, preparing you to go out & have a great night without the need for a routine. I was an instructor at QuickSteps a few years back & even though I may not teach anymore, it's just so much fun to swing by, catch up and dance with all the new, familiar and friendly faces.
Instructor Alex is not only born to dance but also born to teach dance. He is a world class dancer. Yet he is so patient with beginners. I recommend him for private lessons. I also recommend his workshops with wife Natalia. Rhys & Roslyn made me feel welcome by offering a complimentary drink sparkling water & clearly explaining what the studio offers. Rare to find world class dance teachers like Alex & Natalia in Adelaide.
Fun studio, engaging staff and teachers, regular group lessons to help practice with private lessons to help you master your favourite styles. It has more of a familiar, welcoming club vibe than a typical studio with frequent social nights to hang out with other students/dancers. A great way to keep fit and learn something new with a strong emphasis on fun!
Dance lesson for my 90 year old mother. Great place, fabulous teachers Luke and Eric are exceptional when working with mum.
We started going to QuickSteps many years ago to learn some dancing for our wedding dance. We have since been students here for years and have found all the teachers to be very skilled at teaching dance and very friendly and approachable. All the staff are amazing with us and our kids and we would highly recommend the studio for anyone wanting to learn to dance.
The QuickSteps community is unique. The company's, and its employees', culture is absolutely distinctive. The instructors welcome you to move at your own pace while simultaneously motivating you to aim for better performance. They are friendly, engaging, professional, and very patient. When you arrive alone, you are greeted with open arms, which is especially impactful. I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to QuickSteps and setting out on a fantastical dance experience!
Great place to learn how to dance! Been coming here for a few years and the quality and care from the teachers and team has never been less than exceptional.
