Story

Jive is one of Adelaide’s premier live music venues, playing host to the best local, national and international live acts.
Jive’s original theatre design elements give it a huge advantage over many other performance venues. The stage stands before a sunken dance floor, so drinkers have clear sight lines from the bar level, and the mezzanine level creates a feeling of intimacy. The original design features of the venue make it an acoustic gem.
Jive exudes a chilled out lounge vibe, and the decor, staff and music always make Jive a truly welcoming, cosy and entertaining night out.
Jive supports our best local brewers with Coopers and Hills Cider on tap, and all the wines are sourced locally. We also stock a large range of South Australian Craft Beers.
Saturday nights after the bands we keep the party going with Indie stalwart Gosh! DJ Craig pumps out your favourite indie tracks all night long.
