I’ve been using Queensland Inspection Services at the Burleigh branch for many years now, and every single visit ends the same way — with a laugh and a smile. Big Johnny, Medium Size John, Rob, Darren, the Scottish bloke, and the whole team are an absolute pleasure to deal with.nnConsidering how strict the requirements and deadlines are in their line of work, they always go out of their way to help you through the process and make everything easy to understand. Their professionalism, combined with their approachable and down-to-earth attitude, makes what could be a stressful experience feel straightforward and manageable.nnI’ll admit, I don’t always make Big Johnny’s life easy — turning up with the wrong paperwork, expired licence, or missing a JP — but he’s always patient and finds a way to help me get it sorted and back on track. That level of understanding and support doesn’t go unnoticed.nnI also want to acknowledge the girls at head office, who are always helpful and efficient behind the scenes.nnI hope COX Automotive continues to invest in better equipment for the Burleigh branch. The team themselves never let me down, but occasionally the equipment does — things like the POS systems and iPads can slow the process down. The staff always handle it professionally, but improved equipment would make an already excellent service even better.nnOverall, an outstanding group of people providing an essential service with professionalism, patience, and a great sense of humour. Highly recommended
Had a bad run at Yatala. Dealt with John — rude, impatient and not listening at all, came across like he didn’t care and was quick to fail without proper communication. Pretty poor way to treat people.nOn top of that, you’re paying nearly $500 for a 30-minute inspection and the place can’t even provide a proper toilet for customers. Absolutely unacceptable. The facilities are filthy and clearly not maintained. For the money they charge, basic hygiene and customer standards should be a given. Really poor experience overall.
I had appointment at 12:30 pm. I received text in morning by Richard at 10am are you coming your 12:30 appointment? I replied yes I will. I was driving with my 8 months pregnant wife and child at back seat. My phone was on silent he texted again at 12:27 are you close? At 12:31 pm he texted i am closing gate which i missed obviously phone was on silent i was here by 12:34 pm. 4 minutes late shutter was down. I got confused may be i am on wrong address. I quickly googled the address it was same then it came to my mind to go and text inspector. After i went into messages i found two text i replied i am here at 12:36pm . He walked out of office very rude and aggressive i tried to explain why I didn’t replied text he was like no excuse. You should be here by 12:30 pm. I was late 2-3 minutes i understand but i believe there is 5-10 minutes window. I really wish he had listened or consider but No ACTED LIKE GOD . Really disappointed with behaviour . I understand friday you want to go home quick but Please don’t ruin someone day.
Very disappointing experience. I had a booking at 11:00 AM and arrived at 11:05, but was turned away because another car was taken in instead—apparently without a proper booking. I was told to rebook and wait months again, which is unacceptable.nnThe staff were also rude and unhelpful, especially Kate at reception and Rohin the inspector. Overall, very unprofessional service. I do not recommend them.
The girls at the reception were very professional and friendly the assessor was quick inefficient
