QBox Motor Camp
"A small peaceful campground right on the edge of Queenstown Hill Reserve. We have a range of accommodation available from our cosy two-person cabins to our powered and non-powered sites. We even have a studio and chalet on the mountainside. Our small creek park is surrounded by forest, wild flowers and a mountain stream. We are just a short walk from the town centre, which makes us an ideal location for family, group and event bookings."

Best place ever. Easy to check in, the service is remarkable and very helpful. Coming back for sure! It is close to town and you live in nature. Showers have good pressure and are hot straight away, kitchen basics are provided and everything works well. The lounge is next to the river. The cabins have heaters, good beds and lovely neighbours. Highly recommending this place.
Overall friendly staff who also accommodated our preferred camp site. However price and quality do not match at all, they really have an issue with the cleanliness of their facilities. Every morning there were dead Grasshoppers everywhere in the toilet, showers and even in the sink of the kitchen. The shower curtain had already mold stains see pics. The showers did not work properly cold water, sometimes it tools ages to get warm and if more than one person took a shower the other had almost no water. I would not recommend to stay at this camping site for that price, really disappointing.
Don’t listen to the negative reviews, this place is perfect for a stay in Queenstown if you’re traveling with a campervan. We used the powered site twice and the owners were nothing but friendly and flexible. We got there pretty late in the night and didn’t have to worry about payment until the next day and they even let us check out later so we didn’t have to rush. Thank you for an amazing time and I highly recommend this place.
Not impressed. Good communication after booking but no-one in attendance until 6m so the system relies on self-service check in. No-one to resolve issues like a faulty tumble - drier or someone taking another's pre - booked slot. Site lacked maintenance and the facilities weren't clean. Showers were cold or varied between hot and cold for no obvious reason. A little too primitive for the price.
Such a wicked campground in the heart of Queenstown, a short 20 min walk with a beautiful view gets you right into all the action! With a creek flowing through the grounds it makes for a tranquil place to sleep and relax, whilst the facilities were clean and perfect for our 4 night stay! Would highly recommend this spot to anyone, plus the owner is absolutely awesome and helpful! Wouldve loved to have stayed longer!
This holiday park was really run down and not properly maintained. Although I am sure it was not, my wife and I felt a little unsafe in its premises simply due to how to was being kept. Would not recommend anyone to go for this. If you have the budget, go for Driftaway holiday park instead. It is a short distance from the airport and is much more modern and much cleaner. You will also get a better view of queenstown from the holiday park itself!
This is a great site in a lovely position with nice facilities but when we were here there appeared to be a staffing problem. The toilets weren't cleaned often enough, soap dispensers left empty etc. Not the end of the world though overall.
Lovely place to stay - easily within walking distance to Queenstown centre with nice facilities that are well looked after. My only reasons for not giving it 5 stars is the WiFi only worked in very specific locations and the road up was rough on the ol’ suspension. Stayed there more than one night and would stay again.
Pros 1. Relatively cheap for Queenstown 2. 20 minutes walk from Queenstown center. 3. Unlimited showers 4. Relatively equipped kitchen 5. Unlimited WiFi see cons Cons 1. Access is through a gravel road which is poorly maintained. There is a lot of traffic even in the morning before checkout time as workers come in to renovate certain areas. 2. Lots of sandflies and mosquitos not present in other campgrounds around Queenstown. 3. Kitchen is smallish although equipped. 4. WiFi doesn't really work outside the lounge, and sometimes kicks you out even when you are adjacent to the router. 5. Renovations have been conducted throughout our stay, blocking the women's toilet and showers and so the men's showers became mixed and there was a wait time in the morning.
I stayed in the Campark as I had a mini-camper. All the facilities were excellent and town was a pleasant 20stroll away. Equally adjacent to the gondolas. Have no bother recommending this site.Service: 5/5
