Enjoyed my stay here. It’s proximity to Chadstone shopping mall and Oakleigh market makes it a perfect location to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely chose to stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
Sharing my experience after staying in this 2-bedroom service apartment for 39 nights. One of the nights all the customer’s car tires got slash and management refuse to take any responsibility when they charge $10/night for parking per day. Since this place is unsafe and therefore, I decided to move out with 2 night forfeited. Don’t bother coming back again since this property located in Melb busiest intersection. Noise is unbearable, that I wear ear plugs every night and no security. Vaping room downstairs attracts people lurking around in the carpark. Beds, pillow and sofa completely worn out. The mattress it’s just like you sleeping on a hammock and sofa is disgusting, stain everywhere. Yuck! Bonus, you can smell your next room cooking curry every night!
I have stayed here almost weekly for over 2 years even through COVID and I used to love it but since the reception started closing at 5pm it has gone downhill and no longer feels safe. Tonight I have a dog next door still yapping at 9.30pm and nothing I can do about it because reception has closed. Will be finding alternative after tonight.
A great place to stay at Punthill very close to chadstone shopping centre. parking is very convenient. The staff are very nice and accommodating.Rooms: 5/5
I stayed for almost 1 month for business trip and definitely one of my most unpleasant experience. Service is not that good, not hospitable, room has so many problem from broken remote, broken towel handler to hot water doesn’t work properly at all. Already filled complaints many times but hot water remains not working. First week, Room was cleaned after 6 days almost a week. I know it’s not enough staff but at least please let us know in advance when to clean since for long stay we could only get 2x a week for cleaning which is thats really bad considering the amount paid. When checking out the short hair lady wasn’t really responded my thank you and see you. Really disappointed with almost overall aspect. Good thing is they have 1BR apt choice which is suitable for morethan 2 weeks business trip and it’s walking distance to Chadstone even though it’s not that convenient as surrounded by highway. Shisha place and Yumcha restaurant downstairs is also amazing but definitely not a place for u if u can’t handle the traffic noise.
Don’t ever stay here. They do not care about their customers satisfaction. My room was trashed the night before so was not available for me. I was travelling on my own had to sit in my car on Saturday afternoon and find my own accommodation. Eventually said they would reimburse me for out-of-pocket expenses but of course that did not happen. Stay across the road at Oros Hotel. Great staff and really good accommodation.
Plenty of parking is available and the staff were friendly. We had a 1 bedroom apartment. The room was a decent size and all the appliances worked. The room had a musky smell, not sure if it was from the AC, the carpet or both. The kitchen wasn't very clean, had to scrub the sink and drain, the draw below the oven was filled with old food from the oven and the oven had used foil inside of it. The living room table was ok, but the chairs were worse - tattered and uncomfortable. The bathroom sink tap had come loose from the basin maintenance fixed it and there wasn't much storage/shelf space for belongings family of 3. She shower didn't feel clean and the exhaust fan didn't work. The bed springs were badly worn and very uncomfortable - they require replacement. Overall, I never felt comfortable in this serviced apartment because I felt like everything was dirty and in poor condition. We stayed for 2 nights.
I booked this for my elderly aunty not knowing there was a vaping room downstairs. Any wonder there were rooms available when the rest of Melbourne was booked out. Never again! The room smelt musty/stale. The furniture was quite scuffed and the apartment felt unclean. Neither of the TV'S worked. One had a broken cable and the other other one the screen didn't display the picture.
When you've driven for 10 hours solo and you've book accommodation that clearly states a private balcony , why because that's what is advertised, that's what you have booked and that's what you require and you arrive in the late evening hours to find that there is no balcony, then the star rating is 1 star. Disappointing YES. false advertising INDEED. Staying again ABSOLUTELY NOT..... and it's only night 1 of a very stressful week
