Incredibly disappointed!!!  We were here in 2014 and found this hidden gem that had very reasonable pricing and relatively good food with a courteous staff.  We ordered take out and are staying in a motel yet we were given service ware like we'd be serving this in our home.  Even the napkins were a joke, a Kleenex would do better.  Last time was so different and we were impressed.  They gave us quality napkins last visit.  The chicken wings were awful, the chicken satay over sauced.  I will say they do package their food well with sturdy containers, but they need to keep in mind that the little things such as quality napkins and service ware when you're staying in hotels, which is what this area is all about is important.  Perhaps they think foreigners what foods that are less healthy and covered with massive peanut sauce.  Bravo though on their pricing and quick service.  Sorry we recommended our friends to this restaurant........but to be honest as far as pricing goes they have the other restaurants in the area beat!!!  It's hard to eat healthy in this area of Melbourne.

A good, decent local Thai place. Perfect for takeout on those nights we can't be bothered cooking, want something quick and cheap, but don't want 'fast food'. We find it's more successful if we go down and order than to call ahead for take away.

This restaurant is super convenient, close to the expensive ones by the river, but with one big difference, the meal is very good value. I ordered Barramundi Lemon and it was super aromatic with delicious citrus flavours. My partner had the twice cooked duck and it was amazing and soft. So, it you are at the DFO, just cross the bridge and you will find it super easy. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, excellent prices. Tony remembers locals names and makes sure things are done right. I like the Vietnamese iced tea, the satay  roti and all of the vegetarian noodle options. SO GOOD. This place was one of the first restaurants to be tucked away in this corner that nobody knew was there. It was good enough to survive while all the others went bust. They are the vanguard restaurant. You can bet others will go while they remain. A fun, casual style with spruce. Take away available, but it's nicer to eat in if you can. Really fast service. Best value restaurant in the area.

The best massaman curry, do try it. Great service, the staff are really friendly and it's an all round great vibe for lunch or dinner.
