I would like to say a big thanks to National Pies for this collaboration with Quorn for the meat free pie. We have really enjoyed the pie as it was delicous!! One question, is a vegan pie out of the question?
Best value, best taste & best service. The GO TO place for pastry & more. Don't even bother with Banjo's - too expensive and not as nice!
Best pie I have ever eaten, delicious meat filling and light flaky pastry. Will be spreading the good news re these pies from "lockdown state".
Unfortunately I did not enjoy my beef and cheese pie. I got some hard pieces of Grisel which put me off eating the rest of the pie. I am still keen to try other flavours and understand that with the sort of meat used to make pies that finding grisel is not unusual in any brand.
An ex Tasmanian now in Victoria. What a great pleasure to get some quality food in the supermarket now. I grew up on these & a pleasure to be getting my children to eat them as well. Keep up the good work Tassie
Had a pepper pie in Tasmania and I think it is actually the best pepper pie I've ever had. Amazing, great tassie beef, in a rich pepper gravy and beautiful pastry. 5 stars. Delicious.
Just tried the chicken curry party pies. Omg so good. Have to say the beef pies are not as good as they used to be. But will definately be buying the chicken curry again. Living in Victoria it's great that Woolies sells them now.
Just recently a local vendor is selling National Pies. My compliments to N.P, absolutely great texture and flavour. Just like the pies of my childhood. Lets hope we see more of them in Victoria. regards, Ron Jackson, Bendigo,Vic,3550
Buy your pies here, MUCH cheaper than the supermarkets and they sell off yesterday's stuff cheaply
