Was super happy to find a Jackman and McRoss in the city! The shop is cosy with wooden floors and furnishings. It's in a quiet, sunny position in Hobart near offices. The range and quality of food is consistent with the other stores. There's store friendly staff too. And great coffee, one of the best in the area.
Great little Hobart bakery. Best croissants in Hobart - go well with their excellent coffee. Very good selection of cakes and savouries, plus good meal options. Well worth a visit.
One of the best hot chocolates I've had. Food selection is great, lots of tasty looking sweets and savouries. Staff are lovely and happy. Well worth your time to stop in

Jackman and Mcross used to do great pastries, but if the block of half cooked dough with a couple of almond flakes on one end that they called an almond croissant is anything to go by, those days are gone. No competition, that was the worst croissant I have ever had. Truly inedibly disgusting.

Great chai brewed on tea leaves, good breakfast hot pot. Hot pot was made in advance and reheated to order so the poached eggs were cold while the rest of the dish was deliciously warm. It was a strange mix that didn’t sit well with me. Vibe of the place was lovely.
Great meal n tasty at very affordable prices. Great lunchtime place to meet.
