I am not a big pie eater, mainly because I hate gristle. But I have purchased the chicken and mushroom, the beef and caramelised onion as well as the plain beef. I found them all very tasty the pastry was excellent. Would I buy them again, I sure will. My only complaint is the size of the ones I bought from Woolworths, one is just not enough :::
TL;DR - 4 pieces of gristle in a party pie, immediately followed by gristle on first bite of sausage roll. If I could give 0 I would. We're not buying your food products so you can put meat SCRAPS in the pies and sell it to us. I was eating a small party pie, and I found FOUR pieces of gristle inside and thought it was just poor luck. I then decided to try a sausage roll and immediately more gristle inside of the first bite, not to mention the taste had the aroma of raw meat despite being cooked. Thank you for ruining my appetite, absolutely disgusting.
Found these gems in Queensland while on holidays and the whole family love them. Tasty, well balanced flavours with light, crispy pastry. Great range. Keep up the great work!
These pies were recommended to me by a friend. The best pie I have had in a long time. I will definitely be buying these products from now on.
I'm from Canberra and get these Tassie pies hot from Bunnings or frozen from Woolies. Magnificent quality. Yum!!
These are the best commercially made pies and sausage rolls I have ever tasted. I started supplying them to my local lodge and the brethren rave about how good they are. We are in central Victoria and only wish we could get the complete range of products. Our local Woolies sell out as soon as they hit the shelves Ian Maryborough VIC
I sometimes go in there of a morning before school and have never had a problem great pies and she is so nice in there. Couldn't be happier with the service
What a great pie shop. They have everything at more than competitive prices. You can get them hot or frozen to take home for later. A must go place.
Some pies from national pies in woolworths are really filled some are not , when i buy from woolworths quite disappointed to see very thin pies on offer versus some proper ones,their pies and production line is soooo inconsistent..i love the grass fed beef and cheese but some that you buy have absolutely no filling inside...
Do not buy these, I am sure they break regulatory standards on content. Just had two of their chicken and mushroom but found no chicken nor mushrooms only sauce
