Exceptional service, tasty bagels, divine drinks. Everything was so fresh! Thanks to Sam also for giving us a great recommendation for a tattoo studio with the help of another staff member! Legends Can't wait to come back and visit again soon.
Wow! The best bagels I've ever eaten in my life, delicious! You just enter the place and it's so cozy, the staff is very friendly and pff smells so delicious. Also, the coffee is great . If you are visiting, you must try, you won't regret it .
Stayed in Hobart for 6 days. Managed to consume 7 bagels from here in that time. This is a seriously cool little joint and the bagels are to die for pun intended!. I've eaten my fair share of bagels and these are among the best I've ever tasted! Highly recommend!
Wow! What a spot. It was so busy on Sunday so came back Monday. Great coffee. Fast and very friendly service, with a great recommendation to suit me. I had the cinnamon bagel with butter, so good! I also loved the music
As a Minnesotan traveling through Tasmania, I was already thrilled to hear of a bagel shop in Hobart, and then to see the MN references made me feel like I was home. Delicious bagels and coffee with friendly service to boot. Thanks for having me!
fairly sure this isn’t my first review of this place. let this american tell yinz that these are the best bagels this side of the equator . everything about the aesthetics in here rival a Wes Anderson movie being presented by Andy Warhol. Staff or owners? are excellent.
Awesome place that is mostly vegan. Their food is delicious and fresh, their baked bread and other goods are a dream. This place is a must visit whenever we are in Hobart. Get in early to secure one of their famous cinnamon scrolls!
Quality of foods served here has gone downhill a lot over the years. I used to like all different types of bagels from them and they made my favourite chai latte. I didn't go there for a while during the pandemic when they only did takeaway. But after I started revisiting again, there has been a strong burnt smell everytime I went - like really bad and pungent that could put you off eating. Coffee quality has changed as well - beans have become super sour but not flavourful. Something is wrong with the extractions and the temperature. Texture of bagels has not been the same. It's more just like normal bread but not the chewiness you would expect from bagels. I bought a gingerbread bagel for takeaway a couple of weeks ago. And when I ate it after I got home, I found the bagel was completely bitter - I don't know how much ginger and cinnamon you added to make something that bitter if you didn't follow your original recipe - so I couldn't even finish a quarter of it and had to throw it away. FYI I like spices and it wasn't only subjectively bitter. I just thought it was a local business and messaged them to provide the above feedback because I did want to buy good bagels as they used to be like from them. But what I only got was a dismissive and rude response saying that everyone in the shop liked the gingerbread bagel but me. Maybe it will remain a popular place among tourists but definitely not recommending it to Hobartians who just want to support local businesses cause they don't really care.
Amazing service by the tall young lady at the takeaway side of the shop she had shorter hair, I didn’t ask her name but wow such great people skills! She absolutely made my day! & amazing sweet treats also! Thank you for a wonderful experience & service
Very disappointed with their cheap business idea and poor attitude to their service. When pickup Uber order today I asked for 2 paper cupholders for 2 different customers’ beverage, and you guess what, the staff told me exactly as “I will only give you 1 cup holder unless you want to pay for it”. I don’t know how much it would cost for a paper cup holder, 10 cents, 20 cents maybe, but you may get your beverage placed directly to the floor without a cup holder if you decide to make a 20, 30 dollars online order from here, as you are not paying enough to get a cup holder. And no I don’t carry scissor or any sharps in my car sorry.
