Story

Professional Music Academy of South Australia is a boutique studio that prides itself in creating an intimate one-on-one private teaching environment. We are a group of fully qualified and experienced teachers specializing in teaching piano, cello, violin, viola, guitar and theory tuition.

We have two studios that are located in Paradise and Norwood.

What sets us apart from other studios is our structured curriculum. Students of all ages and levels are required to experience our varying performance opportunities, assessments and exams. We pride ourselves in offering real performance experiences, masterclasses, orchestral experience, holiday programs and often invite visiting artists to perform for our students.

Madeline runs an amazing music school - the level of professionalism, support and opportunity afforded the students of the school is unparalleled. Our 5 yr old daughter has flourished under Madeline's tutelage and has already had opportunity to perform in two professional venues and soon will also have her first orchestra experience with PMASA. Highly recommended.

Madeline is a compassionate and inspiring teacher. She treats her students with the upmost respect and the lessons are well structured to each students individual abilities. Highly recommend Madeline and the staff at Professional Music Academy of South Australia.

Having been under Madeline's guidance for more than a year, my violin skill has improved tremendously. She is a great communicator! She uses visuals and illustrations to help me master both the technical and musical sides of playing the violin. As an adult student I find her teaching very effective. Every lesson is goal-oriented with a take-home lesson note. Lesson is always fun as she encourages new attempts and celebrates little successes!

My son has been learning violin from Madeline for 3 years and loves it dearly. I never need to remind him of practice because Madeline has done all the hard work and inspired his passion. He is now doing AMEB Grade 5 and playing for AYS. PMASA opened a magnificent world of music for our family. Greatly appreciated. I particularly love the concert organised for the young musicians.
