To be a creative and dynamic learning community committed to educational excellence where all students can achieve their highest potential;
To foster the individuality of each student in a caring, nurturing and Christian environment;
To connect with our community, church and parents, encouraging a culture of participation and involvement.
Playgroup
St Andrew's School is really excited about our new Playgroup at the beautiful Early Learning Centre.
Early Learning Centre
The St Andrew's School Early Learning Centre (ELC) has strong links to the Reggio Emilia philosophy. We view our children not as empty vessels to be filled with knowledge but, in fact, builders of knowledge, scientists who are constantly creating and testing their own theories of the world.
R-7 Curriculum
Children in Reception build on their ELC experience through inquiry based learning. This approach is enhanced from Year 1 to Year 7 as students embark on learning experiences designed using the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years and Middle Years frameworks.
International Baccalaureate
Students from the Early Learning Centre to Year 5 study the Primary Years Programme. It focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the wider world.
International Students
The internationalisation of education enriches the life of St Andrew's School by promoting an exchange of ideas and strengthening cultural understanding. St Andrew's School has an established programme for international students aged from 9 - 13 years, registered with CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students).
Music
The experience of Music at St Andrew's is dynamic and rewarding for our students as they engage in high quality musical experiences focusing both on enjoyment and excellence. The musical development of children at St Andrew's is led by an expert and musically accomplished faculty.
