You can't find a better authentic Italian dinner experience in Melbourne! The food is 10/10, the service over exceeds all expectationsbig shout out to Wilson and the atmosphere is just right to ease yourself into a food coma! Highly recommend
Came for our family friends birthday on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the Garlic prawns which came with rice and salad. I really enjoyed the the meal and finished it all. My only note is that the salad was very bland so I asked for some dressing which the waiter was happy to get for me. The rest of the group ordered the the steak, the salmon and the lamb. Everyone was very happy with their meals and left not a crumb behind. We also ordered dessert. I ordered the raspberry panna cota which unfortunately was quite a disappointment as it didn’t seem to be fresh and was very mushy. The rest of the dessert that we ordered was the tiramisu, sticky date pudding, lemon meringue and the chocolate brownie. The rest of the desserts was very good as opposed to the panna cota. Overall I enjoyed my lunch here and would come again.
Beautiful restaurant. First time going to Positano, and the atmosphere was amazing! Clean floors and tables, warm and cosy.nnThe food was absolutely delicious! My wife and I ordered a parma, calamari and bruchetta. DELICIOUS!nnThe restaurant itself is in a convenient spot. Lots of parking, easily accessible, the ability to being able to take home leftovers, and the fact they have their own take-away part.nnSo you can easily order take-away from them over the phone and pick it up. Staff were inviting and friendly.nnDefinitely recommend!
Positanos is so fantastic. My husband and I used to go weekly! It never disappoints. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome and part of the family. We have honestly never had a bad or average food experience. It's always 10/10. The garlic pizetta is a must.
W O W nnI ordered dinner via UberEats as I amnin Melbourne for work.nnThis would honestly have to be one of the best veal scollopini I’ve had!nnThe veal was beautifully cooked there was at least 4 pieces and the mishroomnsauce was full of flavour and plenty of sauce too. The mash had great flavour & consistency not runny or stoggy The veges were in a separate container and had just the right amount of seasoning with a light drizzle of good quality olive oil.nI added a side of chips with the intent of eating them with some of the sauce. Chips were hot & crispy.nToo finish this heavenly meal I ordered the Giandutto hazlenut gelato omg yummo sorry no photo, it disappeared pretty quickly lolnnThe only sad part about this story is I’m from Sydney, would love to have Positano as my local.nLooking forward to ordering again when I’m back in Melb
