Story

The Hallam Hotel was established in 1872 and is situated approximately 40 kms south-east from Melbourne's C.B.D. (About half an hour travelling off-peak on the M1). We offer friendly bistro dining, TAB/sports bar, private function rooms, BWS drivethough bottleshop and a broad and eclectic range of entertainment.

Recent awards that the venue has won include the 2009 AHA National Award for Best Marketed Venue, the 2008 AHA State Award for Best Entertainment Venue and as well as the 2008 AHA State Award for Best Marketed Venue.

Really lifted its game since I was last there a few years ago. Completely remodelled the whole place. The dining area is much nicer and the food is great. Even the staff seem friendlier and more helpful. I had the USA platter and everything on it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Well worth a visit.

My local watering hole. Major reno with new HUGE bistro. But I only frequent the TAB(gambling and drinking area). Service good. Thursday chicken parma and pot(small glass of beer) 13$. From 4-6pm weeknights is "Happy Hour" drinks $5. Clientele is mixed. Women and Men. Peace

Very busy tonight but service was good did not have to waite long for our meals. Meals where good my steak was very juicy and cooked perfect.And the new renovations have made it more modern to eat at. Will be back and try the desserts they look good😊

Nice bistro area now. Has changed a lot since I was there a few years ago. Recommend the ribs. They literally just fell off the bone.
