Dine here! You won't regret! I'm SHOCKED that this restaurant has such a low rating due to picky customers not knowing that they are at an authentic Italian restaurant in Viaduct precinct, Auckland waterfront. I have dined here quite a few times with different groups of friends and colleagues and couldn't find any faults in their food and service and the location! I called the day before yesterday to book a table for 14 people just a week before Christmas week, and they have a big table available for us. The staff was very attentive to us and our food. For 14 people with different dishes, food came out super quickly, from starters to mains, drinks were served professionally. We also brought a birthday cake with us with their permission, they offered to put it in the fridge and served it for us later with a small charge of course. Seafood was fresh, cheese and bread was yummy, pasta and risotto was yummy my colleagues finished their main dish like within 5 minutes as they were so scrumptious! Steak was cooked perfectly as requested! Definitely highly recommended and will come back.
Couldn't fault our waiters they were excellent. Food was delicious with loads of options. Extensive wine list with excellent wines on offer. Comfortable indoor and undercover outdoor seating. All very stylish and all Wheelchair accessible.
Pizza and fries. Food was nice and arrived quickly. However when we and another customer asked if they could put the heaters on as it was cold and wet the request was declined. There was also no toilet paper in one of the women's toilets. Food was nice, service was nice however only 3 stars due to not being very accommodating and no toilet paper! Probably wouldn't go again.
Place is lovely, staff are friendly. I felt that the macaroni with chicken and broccoli is extremely overpriced for the lack of flavour was super runny. Loved the cocktails and arancini.
Food was great! Had oysters and the casarecce alfredo. oysters were $5/one which seemed fairly reasonable in my experience, however for almost $30 the pasta dish seemed small the bowl looks larger than it is. Still i would go back, i just might plan to stop for a snack somewhere on my way. Service was decent, nothing to write home about.
Love this restaurant always come here every year from Singapore when l make the trek back to visit whanau. I always forget and speak Spanish with them lmao. Awesome service and food. Muchos Gracias.
The rocket and Parmesan salad was $11.50 and was honestly a $1 bag of rocket with 3 pieces of Parmesan, absolute joke and no waiter returned to ask how our meals were. The pasta and pizza were ok, not worth the price
I came here for a birthday dinner last night with a large group, and I couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough. The service was fantastic, everyone enjoyed their meals, and we were comfortably warm at our table despite the temperature outside. The wait times were extremely reasonable for a Saturday night, and everything was cooked to perfection. Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian options, and multiple different options for people with varying tastes. I had the baked gnocchi and it was a very good meal! Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible, everything is flat with no lips on any of the doors. The entryway to the main restaurant is a sliding door, which comfortably accommodated a wheelchair user while we were seated.
Dropped in here for a quick meal and ended up spending nearly 2 hours over a bottle of wine and pasta. No rushing, reccomend the salmon pasta great No need to book just turn up and a table is quickly available. Food great wine even betterFood: 5/5
Service seems to be a hit or missed based on other people’s reviews, but we’ve had two good dinner experiences here. Staff were friendly despite being very busy. Service was a bit slow but we don’t mind taking our time and chatting over a bottle of wine. The food was delicious, as always. My only suggestion would be a bit more transparency about the bottled still/sparkling water on the table - we were aware to ask for tap water, but felt this would come across as pretty scammy to anyone who didn’t know and were left with a surprise on their bill.
