Went in today with my wife and girls, spent around 10min walking around in the bathroom section, pretty much got ignored by the lady at the desk. A mid 50s couple walked into the didn't and got greeted and served immediately.

We also overheard s few bitchy comments from staff that were discussing another staff member. 

Not the best experience and we are unlikely to go back.

Was initially happy when I strolled in (06/08/17) paid $3.5k for what I thought was right with help from the lady behind the desk. But in the end the plan did not pan out with the shower nor taps, so called Placemaker's to cancel shower (on 7/8/17), and spoke to the sales lady at the desk Selina who sold me the items (she did well to up-sell me on items I couldn't use after advice by my plumber and builder who told me exactly what to get etc and I relayed that back to the Sales lady and she went "you want this and this and this") which turns out they cannot be used in my bathroom. So I ordered all these items including a LH Robertson shower which is non returnable as had to be ordered in. So I rung up tried to cancel the shower at least and they said they would call back on 4 different occasions and let me know how they get on with cancelling from the supplier, after 4 days trying to get hold of different people Selina and Sandra (bathroom manager, called on her cellphone also) they never called me back. So I went in there on Saturday (12/8/17) and spoke with John, I was highly frustrated by this point, but John calmly looked over everything and found that my order for my Robertson shower wasn't even ordered nor my vanity or toilet (so I could've been waiting for 2weeks for something that wasnt even ordered and been without a toilet nor shower for ages)...... so I rubbed my hands together and said "Oh goody" and asked John "does this mean I can get my money back?" and he said "Yep, if you like". I was going to only cancel the shower, toilet etc and get the vanity underway (6 days later, with a Plumber waiting for it so he can install it and me without a bathroom for 6 day's for no reason as wasnt ordered), but thought to myself, "if this is the carry on I'm going to receive why don't I go elsewhere", so I cancelled the whole lot and now I'm not even going to buy my kitchen from them that I had priced up, so you have really lost something decent here. Only reason Im giving you 2stars is because John (maybe John Smith??) was helpful, calm, friendly and a top notch bloke who got me sorted, he is a definite 5star. Yes this is a bit of a novel but had to explain it the best way I can. Thanks
