I have purchased multiple items over a period of time and have had no issues with the service and can recommend them.Some of the low cost items are exactly thatlow cost/cheapbut you get what you pay for and I have no problem with that. I recently purchased a multi item order an got the freight free delivery which was great, even though some items had to come from a different warehouse locations. I have no problem with recommending TopmaQ. Choose your purchase carefully and you won’t be disappointed.
We purchased twice, online. Every time after two weeks of no reply on our emails, my husband rung then. 5 starts goes only to customer service. However whatever delivery company they are using they don't care about your purchase and just drop where suits then for example in the middle of a driveway at the beginning we always put description where to go and where to deliver because we live rural. Anyway online shopping with TopmaQ is not fun, effective and poor delivery system.
Bought a 20 meter retractable wall mounted garden hose..Had it freighted to my home x Christchurch to Waimate. Brilliant service. The product itself is exactly as advertised. No issues..I have also visited and bought from the Timaru Store. Good people leads to good service. I recommend this retailer whether it be online or in person.
5 weeks since order placed for a jib crane, and still don't have everything. Lots of nice people, eager to assist, but what should've been a simple shipment of a kit in a single box, has become 4 shipments. Still waiting on final piece... Update: Received all parts now, and the crane works as expected. Thanks.
I dealt with TopmaQ through a purchase on Trade Me. I was initially pleased with the prompt communication and supply of tracking details, plus a follow-up email a bit later. The courier they used refused to even try to deliver the chainsaw I'd purchased, simply because PBT is like that in my area, Thus, I had to faff about with a redelivery, which an affiliate company did with no problems, to my door. Not TopmaQ's fault per se, but not a good start to things. Having asked them specifically about the weight of the chainsaw, including battery, before I purchased online, I was disappointed to find they'd misquoted it's weight by almost half! The whole reason for getting the particular model I purchased from them was that I needed a very lightweight one. The chainsaw itself is a nice-looking little unit with good battery life, however its chain is very "coarse" and cuts very roughly, at least at the moment. So, it's "heavy" weight and rough operation make it much less useful than I'd hoped for. Emailing TopmaQ about this a couple of weeks later, I received no reply although I know they received my message, as I got a read receipt back through Outlook, and a follow up email a week later was likewise ignored. So, would I buy from them again? No, probably not. Their lack of willingness to engage in a post-sales conversation with me is poor form and displays an unacceptable "all care no responsibility" attitude not that I think due care was actually undertaken in this instance.
My purchase was handled, completed and delivered within the specified delivery time. I have now used the Weed Eater/Scrub Cutter and I'm very impressed with it's performance.
Very easy to order from. Had a wee oops with the postal address but the TopmaQ team fixed it fast and resent the Wire Strainers which arrived today, Awesome job
Good honest company communications was good. only down fall is pbt as usually whoever has used pbt or aramex will know. Slow useless courier company. I strongly recommend you change yr courier company :
Topmaq is one the worst company for buying tools for a small workshop or DYI. I personally experienced it twice for a Nordiac Drill Machine which they say is suited for Industrial Purposes. But its not. After using it for couple of months it doesn't seem to do its job as per expectations. And when I went to show them how the machine is working they replaced me with new one and after one month it happened the same problem and when I went again they said that we cant replace or repair any more still under warranty because its not meant for heavy usage, but then what's the use of using Topmaq Tools if its not meant for this purposes. So, I personally recommend to all the consumers to be aware before buying any of the Topmaq Tools, because its cheap than the market value but not worth.
We've brought a lot of stuff from here, some brilliant and great value for money, others are you get what you pay for. Personal favorites are the 22" Havik Chain Saw, infact it was so good we brought another, they're just brilliant took out over 250 trees so far. Recently we got the magnetic floor sweeper and used it to run through the burn piles, I was a little skeptical, but wow, it found stuff we couldn't see and also helped level out the ash, so good and highly recommended especially for the price. Staff are always very friendly too and sometimes helpful. Cheers
