Slow service - understaffed (was very obvious - the waiter and waitresses were almost running around) We ordered mussels and we got 6 mussels for $13. Very overpriced considering that we get 1kilo of mussels for $7 at the market. Taste was decent though.

Friendliest service I've ever experienced. Wonderful calamari! Everyone else loved their meals also. Definitely going back when I'm in Philip Island again.

Lovely venue, great for hosting large groups. Food was delicious and very well priced. The manager(?) reluctantly allowed us to pay seperately which we appreciated. Table was not ideally positioned, it was very difficult to manoeuvre to your seat easily, however that is our only complaint. Wait staff were lovely, we would have liked more oportunity to order drinks though.

My family and I have been coming to Cowes each year for the nearly ten years, and we have gotten Pinos every year; it’s our tradition. Last year our pizzas were very average. Very thin bases that flopped with ease and a flavor that was nothing to write home about. My dad just came home with our pizzas for this year, and honestly, they were bad. The bases were even thinner than last year and I swear the sizes have gone down. We all looked at the boxes with confusion. “Did they give us medium Pizzas?” We all thought. I called up and asked the girl who told me a large “isn’t really a large, you know?” We should have apparently ordered the family size instead, putting a second mortgage on the house in the process. 5 incredibly average medium Pizzas for $75 is not a good deal, not even at all.

What a disaster! Absolute no taste is the pasta with ricotta and spinach dish, a disgraceful scotch fillet, over cooked and with a watery horrible sauce that was supposed to be mushroom sauce! And the most horrible Moscato you can ever taste! Besides, service was horrible- in a restaurant with staff numbers more than customers, they forgot the starters and served the mains straight! And tool 20 minutes to get a refill of wine. The place may be popular locally, but please avoid!
