This place doesn’t even deserve the one star I’m giving them, but it was the only way I could place this review. This is the only review I will ever leave because people deserve to know not to waste their time coming to this place. A number of things made this place stand out. #1. This charcoal chicken store ran out of chicken by 1:30pm lunch peak time so half my family missed out on chicken. #2. they made us wait 35min for our order. #3. I ordered a 1/4 chicken chips with gravy. So they took it upon themselves to pour the gravy on top of my chicken which made it extremely soggy. #4.The HSP was disgusting. The meat smelt off and the garlic sauce was way too chunky
Fries were very salty. Chicken was ok. Had to pay $1 for a very small pack of chilli sauce which I thought should have been free. Guess not very motivated as Cowes is quite quiet and business is bad for everyone.
Brilliant food, good value and lovely staff, however, the Parma's actually weren't Parma's. They were schnitzel's with tomato paste and cheese. If it doesn't have ham it is not a Parma. Please note the second photo is my Parma connoisseur friend.
It was hit and miss as we ate here twice. The first time the chicken was good, the second time it wasn't. The first time we had souvlaki that was good, the second time it wasn't. Disappointed. A friend within our group did have a good burger and the portion size was generous. Good outdoor seating that is nice because it's across the road from Cowes Beach. Seating is available inside but there isn't much of it. Place your order inside at the counter and then eat outside if the weather is nice. Staff were good and very helpful, even though busy school holidays. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/Stroller accessible. Good parking but do watch the time limits as the parking inspectors are vigilant. Lots of other places to eat nearby but worth trying this one.
Very bad experience very disappointed. Doesn’t recommend for everyone. Food is bad. They kick to people while they eating because of the shop need to close. That bad never happened before any shops like this. Very disappointed..

Very disappointed with the size of the meal. Called a family meal $38 barely enough for 2 adults. The 'large' chips should've been double the size. Fish bites half tge size of dimsims. I'm familiar with overpriced fish n chips at cowes but very let down this time. Added a souvalaki as an extra taking the meal taking to $52 plus some. The food in it self was well cooked and tasty. I just hate small portions don't believe it should be called a family meal !!! Won't be back I'll go to the store next door.

Shop floor was extreamly dirty, customer service was extreamly lacking, was quiet and still took them about 30 mins to serve me a simple burger and small chips, Serving spoon left dirty in lasagne, dirty tongs were used to cut a freshly cooked chook, mushy chips, hot boxes windows left open so flys could fly in, no one wearing any gloves, ladys talking a bit loud about a customer and giving the people sitting in shop dirty looks, cheeky add of 50 cents to my bill my total was 13.40 as I had calculated and even tho it's just 50 cents my total was 13.90 no sign up explaining why and the lady didn't want to explain it, dirty tip jar and dirty surfaces where food sits, definitely won't be returning.
Terrific roast pork, souvlaki / gyros and burgers and chips. Great family packs all tasted great, healthy option and well made $50 for a family of 6 is very good value cheap considering and right on the beach with a great view
