First time bid online and made mistakeold phone pressed bid and won an auction.straight away called them and told them i made genuine mistake.lady on the phone informed me that my account can be banned.after that they banned my account and took 500$ dollars from my account.when i complain that infos about deposit can be taken wasnt clearly visible they informed me that they cant do anything...update: after my complain they returned me 250$ back .on pickles site there is no clearly charge fee ,they infomed you only that your deposit may be taken. ' May be' mean expression possibility. My opinion is still ,that agent on my first phone call should tell me choices but she hide or didnt know ,that pickles will charge you 500$ . Car i mistakenly won was 1000$ and they charge you 500$ if you cancel the bid.Gray and Manheim are better platforms for buying car on this way,pickles wont tell you the truth and wont give you choices...
Very doggy business with 25% commission on goods which used & faulty. Even there cars are faulty & needs huge amount of repairs which eventually costs more than the value of a car & you can buy cheaper car elsewhere. Don't forget they charge you 16% - 20% commission on top of auctioned amount. For e.g. if buy car for $40,000 then after pickles commission it will cost you between 46,400 - $48,000 plus other adminstration charges plus towing extra. Still no guarantee that it will be in working condition or not. So please stay away from this corrupt & doggy business!!!
I recently purchased a vehicle from Pickles Auction and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. After spending $700 on airfare to travel a long distance, I encountered a staff member who was unprofessional and rude. Despite my repeated requests for assistance, she refused to help me and treated me in a humiliating manner.nShe was an admin Officer KYLIE HERBERT.nnHow unkind people could be.nnHowever, ADAM MURPHY, Adriana and Ron were very helpful, and they have helped in appropriate manner.nnGood customer service is crucial, especially for customers who travel far for their purchases and its all about kindness which cost nothing. I hope that future customers have a better experience, as this interaction significantly affected my impression of the auction.
SHOCKING. YOU WILL HAVE TO GIVE ALL YOU DETALS TO CREAT ACCOUNT before !!!! you can have a bit . Why they need your date of birth , license number BEFORE there is any chance to get that car . Credit card I can understand as a deposit. After experience whit Optus , Medibank this setup is too risky ,almost suicidal .Good luck for all sackers and silly risk takers .
