Great place for pho. Good value for money. Servings sizes are huge even if you get a small. I got the combination beef and chicken which comes with a nice variety of meats, including offals. Priced at around $15-20.
Great spot to have Pho if you're in Carnegie. The chicken pho M size hits the spot, the broth has great texture and the meat is very fresh. Service speed could be better overall; venue is best enjoyed during off-peak hours.
Great portion sizes. Delicious broth, gelatinised when I took home for leftovers so you can tell its quality. All Pho was Gluten Free!
We ordered special beef pho and it was comforting and good especially the soup and brisket
A lovely Vietnamese joint on Koornang Rd. Good food especially their pho. The price has been increased but bigger portion as well. One star down is solely from their service. And that’s the only nitpicking from me. Recommended .
Delicious!!! Loved the sea food crispy egg noodle.
I've been coming here for years. Don't get me wrong, it's not because of the service or because the place is particularly fashionable... It's because the Pho is insanely good. It just makes everywhere else pale in comparison. Incredibly generous serving sizes and an extensive list of options. A must for any authentic pho lover.Food: 5/5
Simply delicious and service was super fast. They served the special beef noodle soup literally 3 mins after I ordered it. Also ordered a snack dish comprised of fried wonton, spring rolls, rice paper rolls and fried calamari to takeaway. I was very satisfied as everything tasted pretty fresh and the calamari was soft and crispy. will def return. Credits to the chef
My experience at Pho Huong Viet 3 in Carnegie was less than satisfactory. Upon arrival, my dining companion and I requested a table for two and placed an order for a large bowl of beef pho and a large prawn salad as we were going to share. We asked for an extra bowl and plate so we could share the main dishes, but were instead brought two small rice bowls that could barely hold a spoonful of food. When we requested a larger bowl, we were told that they were reserved for other customers. It is worth mentioning that during our time at the restaurant, only one other couple came to dine and three other tables left. Given the lack of customers, we were surprised by the staff's refusal to accommodate our request for a simple, extra bowl. In our opinion, providing good customer service and a positive dining experience should be just as important as serving delicious food. As a result of this negative experience, we will not be returning to Pho Huong Viet 3 in the future.
I’ve lived all over Melbourne and eaten all over the world. This place probably has the best Pho at the best prices outside Vietnam. I try to visit at least once a week, if I don’t I get withdrawals.
