Fresh, delicious, reasonably priced Banh Mi. I've been getting a tofu roll here at least once a week for a few months. The tofu is always nice and juicey and food is ready quickly despite the lunch hour rush. Yum! Vegetarian options: Tofu Banh Mi
The Vietnamese iced coffee is AMAZING and only $3.50! The banh mi was made with fresh veggies and roast pork.
Crispy pork, crunchy rolls, fresh salads, these guys absolutely nail every aspect of a Bahn Mi. Vegetarian options: There's plenty of veggie options. Wheelchair accessibility: You're on the ground floor of the cbd Kmart complex.
Their traditional Banh Mi was disappointing. The bread roll wasn’t very fresh, there are just way too much sauce, whether it’s mayo or the brown kinda soy like sauce. My bread roll was soaked by the time it got to the end. The cucumber and pickled carrots were fresh and crunchy. When someone described the meat as too thick, I was like what’s wrong with that? That’s value for money. But noooooo. I get it now That horrible piece of sliced pig trotter with a thick layer of jelly fat/tendon/ligament? was just wayyyyyy too much. The pork loaf could have been good, but it was actually pretty tasteless. Cute little shop but will I go back again? Hell to the no!
We have had two Banh Mi, chicken and Pork here in last 2 week. Go early in the day as rolls are fresher then. Our 2nd time the Banh Mi was fresh and tasty and enjoyable.
No chilli, chewy roast pork! Nice baguette though.Food: 3/5
Love this place! They have moved from Tivoli Arcade to 222 Bourke Street at the Kmart Centre- hasn't been updated in Google yet it seems. Had lunch here for the first time today and it was fantastic. It's also very reasonably priced - cost my $11 for a grilled chicken salad bowl and rice paper roll! Will definitely be back :
Best place to get food in Melbourne, they are very fast at making the food and you wont regret going here. I always come here often and they are quite cheap too.
Pretty good pork roll overall, the rice paper rolls are very nice, maybe even better. Their Vietnamese Iced Coffee is very tasty and cheap as well.
Came for grabbing a quick bite with my partner. We bought a totally toasted banh mi which had a mix of roasted pork and duckthis mix was absolutely lovely , cucumber, pickled carrots, and sauce not overpowering. Overall the food was great and the service by the two lovely ladies as well. This place is worth trying if you want a quick bite. The totally roasted banh mi was around 9$.
