Pretty good, nice staffs and good location with both inside and outside seats. Great menu with so many dishes that could satisfy anyone that miss Vietnamese cuisine. When I came the vermicelli was a quite bland and so was the fish sauce.Food: 4/5
What a gem! Their vegan options are so good. Prices are great and the portions are big. Their Vegan Pho gets a 5/5 for me. So healthy, satisfying and delicious! Vegetarian options: Great range of vegetarian and vegan options.
Food is delicious. Very busy on weekends You can order food and get it delivered. If ordering over the counter can take awhile, but worth the wait. Staff are very efficient and friendly.
Early family & friends dinner booking 6.45pm outdoors. Bring sunglasses half the table could not see for sitting. Menulog has this restaurant awarded best Vietnamese Melb inner-South East We enjoyed the food yet struggled with the app table service and went inside to order. Sadly a meal was completely missed and did not receive until everyone had well & truly finished. Even ordered a later dish and the 1st dish still not arrived after following up on numerous occasions. They did not want to accept cancelling of the dish nor offer apology for ongoing delays Either way food was delicious:- Crispy Saigon chicken Chicken spring rolls Crispy wings Honey chicken Prawn dumplings Fried rice Fish soup Plain rice Calamari the late add on dish Pork salad the delay dish My 12yr old son got serious chilli in the eye from his fingers but that’s a lesson he now has behind him Tiny restaurant was packed & pumping by time we left Would probably try again but lose the table order system

Found this restaurant when hunting for a late night dinner. Both dishes we had were tasty and of good quality. The portion size is great and service was friendly enough. Pricing was pretty reasonable and would be happy to return again.Food: 4/5
It was cup eve so the street was pumping. I’ll cut them some slack for this as the service was a shambles. I’m not a big fan of ordering on QR codes too - no one took our order which means no one knew what were actually waiting for. They kept bringing the wrong food to the wrong table. We had 3 or maybe even 4 meals meant for other tables brought out to us. We had to ask for side plates, cutlery, water, then the food came out in dribs and drabs which means we didn’t eat together. The only saving grace was that the food was pretty good thankfully.
Saigon Mamma – Fresh Flavours It’s not always about special nights out and silver service restaurants. Sometimes you just don’t feel like doing the cooking or the cleaning up, and you want a local that does good food. For us, that means a trip to Saigon Mamma at 66 Koornang Road Carnegie. This is good Vietnamese food that is fresh and very tasty. The shop front is typical of a local suburban shopping strip and the tables and setting is homely and ensures that as many hungry people as possible can get in for a feed. The staff are friendly and the food comes quick. We originally discovered Saigon Mamma as a home delivered take away and it was good. We found out that the food is a whole lot better if you dine in and it doesn’t have to travel to be delivered. Now we make the short drive and let the team at Saigon Mamma do the cleaning up of dishes as well. Favourites include the Tofu Bao with its beautifully soft bao and crispy tofu paired with green apple, pickled carrots & lettuce in a Sriracha mayo sauce. A great way to start a meal. I always enjoy Vietnamese vegetarian spring rolls with lettuce and mint. Simple, but a classic. The star dish is the Tokyo Tofu, crispy salt & pepper silken Japanese tofu. That gets paired with either the amazing Broc and Choy, steamed broccoli & bok choy in a delicious mushroom sauce or the green apple slaw, with crushed peanuts and a zesty lime dressing. There are other yummy options as well. When you don’t feel like cooking then find a local to do it for you and if you are near Carnegie pop in to Saigon Mamma. You will not be disappointed.
Happy to have lunch here. The staff are friendly, and the pho is delicious. The most important thing is the price is reasonable. Definitely will come back hereFood: 4/5
My first Pho here for dinner with friends was so good. Soup tasted delicious. Beef slices were a bit chewy but chicken breast slices were silky soft. Fried Rice and S&P Chicken Ribs were really nice as well. My second Pho for lunch with another friend was a little different. Soup was still great but chicken breast slices were quite dry and tough. Con Tam was all right.
