Miss Viet
INSPIRATION
Our travels through Vietnam over a number of years were inspired by the coalition of the French-influenced architecture with the Vietnamese cuisine. The French occupied Vietnam from 1883 to 1954. We noticed this hadn't been captured in Melbourne so we decided to open a restaurant called Miss Viet.
ORIGIN
We feel the name represents the combination of French and Vietnamese. Miss, meaning a woman, Viet meaning nationalism and resistance to foreign domination.
EXPERIENCE
The food, predominately Asian, has a French influence. The venue has French inspired pieces combined with Vietnamese décor. Our wines have been specifically picked and paired with the dishes by our wine sommelier. Soon to be launched.
