Oscar's Hangout

We absolutely LOVE Oscar's Hangout! Their food is scrumptious, beauitfully portioned and presented. The variety of dishes on their menu is fantastic plus they have a great kids menu (which doubles as an awesome activity & colouring sheet) with "real" food that my kids love - for example their chicken nuggets are freshly and lightly crumbed chicken breast cooked so beautifully that my partner and I always end up eating one (or two). The absolute cherry on top is the wonderful, friendly and professional staff who are seriously delightful. They are polite, friendly, their service is wonderful and they ALWAYS have a lovely smile. We always feel welcome. The cafe is large, spacious and is extremely family friendly. They have tables, couches and an outdoor area where you can sit under their beautiful gumtrees and your kids can run around on the grass. We come here quite a lot. It's our first choice for breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee or cake. I highly recommend it to everyone.

The food and drinks were great. Very friendly staff and kid friendly.

The service was very slow and the food was ok. It was cup day and so they may have been a little under staffed. It did seem very dark in there and not as good as other reviews we had read. Overall it is not somewhere I would run back to.

Hidden gem. All that traffic out on White St. Mordialloc doesn't know what it's missing. Good food and service. This place is worth seeking out.
