Similar to the Pho 24 franchise in Saigon, Vietnam, this is a much needed Vietnamese restaurant on the Spencer Street side of Melbourne's CBD. The interior is clean, modern yet traditional. You order at the counter and get one of those annoying buzzer things. I had the bún thịt nướng chả giò vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and spring rolls. The serving was very generous and the salad was fresh and plentiful. I look forward to trying the pho next time.
Not the phô i wanted to have. The soup taste like a herb soup only .Beef r nice but the noodles r bad . I went there atnight ,after ordered the food ,they didnt try to call me to get it or send it to me even when there were only me .
This is a severely adjusted pho... wouldn't be able to finish except I was too hungry.... still it's more of some soup than beef or anything like pho... so like some said, avoid if you're looking for some pho unless no other choice. Significant room to improve the rice noodle roll too... just too much chunky noodles + greens in there, lack of taste. best wishes for improvements.
Three stars might be a good rating for Pho24. They have the space, great location and possibility to become a great restaurant, why don't they, I don't understand. If you love Vietnamese food, it may not be the best choice. It is okay to visit if you are not very selective.
I hate this place! What a sad attempt at pho. Soup was luke warm and tasted like it came out of a packet. Noodles were too thick making it taste like plastic. This is the worse pho I have had in my life! People eating pho here have no idea the rubbish they are eating! Bad bad quality pho :
Convenient but that's about it. Terrible value, $12 for the smallest Pho is Melbourne. Taste is average. Once and never again.
2nd time in 3 years I've been in a ship that docked in Melbourne, and I stopped here to eat both times! Loved it so much the first time I had to come back. Fantastic food.
Staffs are very nice and dining area is clean but the food portion less than expect. Taste is okay but not great.
Not same Vietnamese foods I ever had, but not too bad.
terrible experience. Pho soup tasted like a mix of instant noodle seasoning, Banh Mi tasted like a cardboard sandwich with stale filling and worst of all owner told me off for using pay pass to pay for my meal. Once and done with this place, never again. If i could give it a zero star rating i will.
