Since 1989 The Phantom Zone has been finding new ways to surprise and delight customers and turn them into lifelong friends. From the first The Phantom Zone has welcomed Comic Book lovers and collectors into a world of exploration.

The Phantom Zone has provided customers with Comic Books, Graphic Novels, Pop Culture, Japanese Manga and Anime, Toys, Models, T-shirts, collectibles and other items they love. We are a Company committed to our customers, our diversity and our community. If you can’t find what you’ve been pining for, we are always happy to help!

We believe that the experience is as important as the Comics and Books themselves and you can rest assured that you will always be treated as the individual that you are.

We have built our reputation on being flexible. We understand how busy life gets and how sometimes it’s not always possible to pop in and grab your comics every week or month. We will always work with you to find a solution to make collecting your comics as easy as possible; all you have to do is give us a list of your comics, (even if there’s only one comic on it) and that’s it.

Been coming to the phantom zone for years. Friendly staff, good selection. It's a classic comic book shop. Their best feature though is the mail out standing order. That way you can subscribe to your favourite comic books and get them mailed to you each month. Definitely reccomend.
The store is a great place for nerds and geeks alike to have small orgasms about. Stock is average and merchandise is plentiful. They even have a free comic-book day on the first Saturday of May. My only concern is the overpricing: I bought 8 comics in good condition for $50?! I'm sorry but this was unacceptable. I love that place but how can any ammeter collector expect to build up a basic collection when prices are so ridiculously high? The fact that there is no pricing on the comics doesn't let you know how much your going to pay until your at the counter, leading to embarrassing encounters with the staff when you can't pay for all and have to leave the line to return an overpriced comic-book Recommendation: lower the prices and have clearly visible prices. Have a few more deals like bulk buy
I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, though it took sometime before we were given assistance. If you want to foster young readers of your products, it is probably best to learn how to sell them to a younger audience. Unfortunately, Phantom Zone caters for those of us who have been reading comics for decades and has little appeal to new readers who are just coming to the age where they're interested in comic books.
Great staff who are alway willing to help. My 6 year old daughter love the DC universe and the staff helped me find some comics that she loves and are at her level. Just the best store that i have been in for staff helping clueless parents. The also have a great selection of collectables as well.
I don't know much about comics myself, but the staff have been really friendly in helping me set up a subscription for my son. The place also seems to have a good selection available.
I went into Phantom Zone as a new collector looking to get started with comics. First of all, the staff member was really polite and helpful and was happy to answer any questions I had. In terms of prices, they were quite competitive with the few other stores in the Sydney area I checked, Phantom Zone definitely prices their inventory well. Finally, in terms of the condition of their stock, every single comic issue I saw and bought was as close to new or mint condition as I think it gets. Overall, I'm very impressed and encourage others to check Phantom Zone out. We don't have many decent comic stores in Australia, especially ones that aren't overflowing with too much merchandising, so places like Phantom Zone that retain their main objective of selling comics and selling them well should be supported.
This was the first official comic store I have been to. It has a very good selection of comics and good price. The service is also quite welcoming.
"Ice" and his team are some of the nicest staff members you'll find in any store, period. Great mix of local and international comics, as well as awesome merchandise.

I went in hoping to find source material for the MCU, and got told I was in a "comic book store, not a comic movie book store". Best impression of Simpsons Comic Store Guy Eva!
