Aquarius Rising is in its 30th year in Parramatta, with the first sale made on February 29th, 1988. It was the first New Age retail venture in the Parramatta district and raised considerable interest among the then rather conservative ‘Westies’
The shop is now in its 30th year - first sale 29th February, 1988.
The shop has been in several locations but is back near its original location in George Street, close to the old Roxy Theatre.
Beginning October 2016 the shop moved from the corner two doors into the Civic Arcade, where the Infinitas Science Fiction and Blokey Stuff Shops used to be. There are books, new and second hand, Music, Tarot and Oracle Cards, Runes, CDs, Incenses - Smudge, Cones, Resins - Statues, Dreamcatchers, Chimes, Crystal Jewellery - many gifts. AND Crystals - Tumbled Stones, Mineral Specimens, free-form stones, Crystal Skulls .......... Himalayan Salt Lamps, Journals, Essential Oils, Fragrance Oils, Perfumed Oils, Candles, Soaps - and more.
Special orders remain an important part of the shop.
Just follow the incense trail on George Street.
Readings are available, generally by appointment.
On Sundays and public holidays the Arcade is closed, but the shop is usually open from 11am to 4pm. A sign on the front door shows the number to ring to let customers in. You are always welcome.
