The team here are super friendly, they greet my pets before me which is exactly want I want! Phoebe loves the hydrobath in store, warm water and out of the cold all year round.
Love Petstock and usually staff are very friendly and attending. However, this time I have asked a simple question about my rewards on the Loyalty program and the person at the counter wasn't even trying to be helpful, just said: "I don't know". I was shocked by the answer, paid and left the store. Its ok if you don't know, but maybe it would be useful to try and find out or point me at the right direction. Went online with the same question and everything was sorted in 2 minutes. Should have told me to go online at least or something, felt like i was bothering her with my question...
The gentleman was lovely when I went in yesterday in the afternoon. It was 10 minutes till closing; working in retail I never like being "THAT" customer that comes in right before closing. He stood up from the front desk, greeted me & advised of the mask wearing to which I replied I was exempt. He smiled and had no issues with that. The small young lady, that didn't get up once, yelled from seating position "WE CLOSE IN SEVEN MINUTES!" it's more that fact that she said it with such attitude and a rude tone. I, shocked, replied "I know, it's ok". She then yelled "DID YOU CHECK IN? DO YOU HAVE THE CANBERRA APP!?" At this point I was a bit frustrated that she wouldn't get up so she didn't have to yell at me, and also that her tone was still so rude. I checked in and went back to quickly grab the few items so I could leave before she rudely spoke to me again. While checking out with the man, she casually sat behind the desk and said to her colleague "Did you hear there was almost 1,000 cases in Canberra today?" I knew she said this comment to get some reaction or because I was there not wearing a mask for a valid reason. You just know when people try to get under your skin, this was one of those times. The man serving me didn't respond to her comment and kept serving me, validating that even he knew this was an inappropriate subject to talk about in from of customers. I have been in customer service for more than seven years, I know what good and bad customer service is. I know what having a good and bad day is like. This young lady really needs to go through some training program so she knows what's appropriate and what isn't to discuss in front of a customer and where to leave her attitude. The man was great!

Always come here to use the wash bays for my dog. Plus the staff are super helpful and actually know their products.
Went to this shop to wash my dog...the shop assistant was more than helpful with instructions on how to do this it was my 1st time at a diy wash. My dog was calm & quickly settled in for a good wash...I was surprised & delighted when I went to pay & was told it was a complimentary wash as it was our 1st time & it's xmas time!...thank you so much...this kindness was truly appreciated...
