For a small club sitting among urban Petersham, this place offers a selection of rich musical nights. The bar is well stocked, staff are friendly and the food is good. The four guys singing American spirituals was something of an oddity. However, when you see a show why not drop down to the bowling and enjoy.
We held our wedding reception at the PBC in early December and it was absolutely perfect. The entire night ran smoothly thanks to the amazing staff. Hayley the events coordinator did an incredible job sorting out logistics, and the catering was outstanding thanks Lizzie! - all our guests raved about the food, especially those with dietary requirements. The PBC has been our local for many years, so having our wedding there was very special. Best venue, best staff! Cannot recommend them enough for any event or just an afternoon wine.
Had a work event for lunch and bowls. Food was very tasty and well made. Great selection of craft beers on tap. Friendly service. Green was a little rough but serviceable. Decor is of a certain age and 'era which will not not be for everyone. Recommended.
Had our wedding reception at the club in November and couldn't have had a better time! The food was spot on, Lulu was very easy to communicate with and super helpful. Everything from start to finish was AWESOME. Our guests are still commenting on how relaxed it was and such a cute venue!! I would absolutely recommend the club for any functions and even just a regular visit we've had many. Great selection of craft beers! It is the old school charm that made us pick the place and I'm so glad we did!
We loved Gaby Moreno's concert there. Good pizza and great beer, lovely place.
Relaxed local family club, great selection of beers and a good smaller music venue. The food is good with a varied menu heavy on burgers and low /slow. The bowling greens are turned over to the children who enjoy a free hand outside. Great on a beautiful day with a bunch of friends.
Nice place for kids and a social get together, food is expensive but very average.
It's easy to overlook the dated interior because this welcoming family oriented club is so relaxing. Kiddies are welcome too. The staff are great and the dinning was popular with other patrons.
5 stars for the original decore in amongst the inner west trendiverse. What a warm, friendly, family club. The locals were having a great time late Saturday afternoon. Was there for a birthday and thoroughly had a blast. Simple food but tasty and value for money.
Great community space and excellent food and beer.
