Peter Markovic

I have never personally done business with Peter Markovic Real Estate, however I live next door to a rental property that they manage. We had an issue some time ago with the tenants being absolutely horrible to live next door to. We raised this with the team at Peter Markovic who could have easily have ignored us. But they took the problems seriously and issued warnings to the tenants and in the end they did not have their lease renewed. We were seriously considering moving due to these neighbours, but thankfully PM took our complaints seriously and they were really great to deal with - and I wasn't even their customer. Thanks.

We leased with Peter Markovic for just over 4years, we found there team friendly and very helpful. We dealt with Alexandra Wallace, she always had a smile and never had an issue with the staff at Peter Markovic, Land lord was different he never fixed issues for us unless they were emergency's.

We had dealings with Peter Markovic as tenants for one year. In that year we had nothing but trouble trying to deal with them. We had a lease for a year, and one tenant moved out at the end of that lease. We contacted Peter Markovic to notify them in advance of this and that we would be seeking a new roommate. We submitted a request for a new tenant, and even after 3 weeks of the submission date nothing had been done about it. We were subsequently notified of a rent increase however we had no objection to it. We were then given incorrect information about the increase, and were told that we were in debt for failing to pay the amount that they had originally stipulated. Upon trying to pay the amount due to their error, we were unable to as their system would not allow small payments. Peter Markovic then said we should take time out of our day to travel into their office and pay in person because of their mistake. As we had a new roommate, we required additional remotes to access the premises. Peter Markovic did nothing to rectify this issue, which meant that we were restricted from using vehicles within the property. Every time we brought up the issue of access, Peter Markovic diverted from the topic and would address other issues such as our rent being short due to their error or completely ignore the request. There would be times where we would have to contact Peter Markovic three or more times in order to elicit a response, and even then it would take days for them to acknowledge the contact. We had enough of their antics and contacted the landlords directly. To our dismay the landlords were never told about the new roommate wanting to move in, even though it had been over 3 weeks since our first notice of intention. Luckily our landlord saw eye to eye with us and we are now with another Estate Agent business. I wouldn’t recommend working with Peter Markovic Real Estate. They are slack, unresponsive and are very poor managers.

Unprofessional, lazy and not willing to perform their duties at all. After I vacated rented apartment, they sent me bills of 700$ for cleaning and repairs. Though I cleaned apartment better than I got. They charged me for damages which were already there before I moved in. Neither they bothered to call/email me before performing repairs.

The absolute ineptitude, ignorance and arrogance of Peter Markovic was showcased during my time as a tenant in one of their properties. Maintenance requests ignored (despite being serious issues), communication from agency to tenant never occurred, any queries became a wild goose chase, the list could go on. My advice to anyone considering Peter Markovic is to completely ignore them, why trust someone with your home when they can't even respond to an email or phone call when you need them most?
