I'm sorry but I come here a lot and a staff member who needs more training and I mean a lot was left unsupervised handling the Aquatic animals and when she finally came to us (30 mins) she was straight out rude , couldn't even fill a bag for a yabbie and when we asked for a plant she didn't ask which one exactly but grabs the broken up one floating at the top of the tank ?!?! I'm surprised there was also JUST HER BY HER SELF IN THE STORE WORKING . not coming here again and if you want bad customer service here is the place to go .

Really bad service. Only had 2 staff on who were with other customers around the shop. No one at the desk just to serve people. Ended up walking out of the shop and going to a different pet shop all together.

Great knowledgable staff and the prices aren't too bad but still expensive

The girls here always get excited when I bring my GSD to the shop, they have seen him grow from when he was a puppy, they also help me choose the right food and things that I need to keep my demanding, fussy eater dog healthy. They also helped me with my dogs anxiety related aggression, he is now friendlier with people and other dogs, thanks to staff at Petbarn Chirnside. 
On business end of things they are slightly expensive than your wholesale grain shops but comparable to other stores like Mega Pet warehouse or Petstock. 
Will certainly continue shopping here just because the staff has been extremely good.
