Platform number 1 and 2 are located at underground. Only the train going towards Mandurah and Yanchep line are operating from these two platforms. There are plenty escalators and lifts for easygoing. On busy hours train departs in every 5 min towards each directions. There is no car parking facilities for underground stations. Lots of ticket vending machines are over there for purchasing by card or cash either.
Being a visitor I needed some help to get ticketed - which was super easy to find. And when there was an issue that stopped all trains the staff was great at providing options. The busses I ended up on were clean and ran smoothly - and the train ride back from Fremantle was very comfortable
Always busy yet always clean. Instruction was easy to understand. Somehow, Google Maps can't read if you are already in Perth Station. If you happened already end up in Perth Station, you can take the underpass escalator to reach Perth Underground Platform 1 and 2, vice versa. You can always ask the staff or security there.
Very helpful staff but the toilets are atrocious and also the platform is pretty small and you’re allowed to walk to the very end at the very edge of the platform where you can watch the trains come in kind of dangerous but again cool to watch the trains come in
It's nice that this station is so central. Always clean and the staff are helpful. Efficient to get through and it's fully air conditioned.nnThe signage at the entry really needs an upgrade as it's too small to show all of the lines, and it doesn't show when the next service is if you're just about to miss one. The Perth Station signage is way better. No idea why they wouldn't put signage like this at the entry.
