Pepper Lunch is the new wave of culinary sensation. Our original iron dish and technology of heating generates a revolution in the food business. We are able to provide a searing steak cooked in no time only with this technique. The revolutionary concept is that customers can cook their meals by themselves.

With this advanced cooking technology, it has now changed the style of restaurant cuisines and became the most distinctive feature of Pepper Lunch; which is its unique "Sizzle-It-Your-Way" (cook your steak perfectly done and seasoned as you wish) serving style. The secret is that the technology can heat up an iron dish up to 260 degrees within 1 minute; it can then lasts for more than 15 minutes.

3.7 - Got a Pepper Beef Rice for . It comes very hot and sizzling. I didn't add anything but liked how it was clean and healthy. Service was average - we get a buzzer. There's lots of seating around in the food court, and when you get your order, there's a fair few sauces there. It can really hold up the queue if someone takes their sweet time at the sauce station. There's only room for 1 - they could switch it to the middle for ease.
Nothing spectacular! Don’t come here with super high expectations! The teriyaki chicken lacked flavour despite pouring all the sauce.
Always a great experience eating here. Great ambiance of the district dining helps with the vibe. Food is delivered fresh on hot wok plate and with the correct seasoning you can have a great taste. We come here whenever we can even though it's far from us. Try it out! The combo deluxe is my fav and always fills me up well. Otherwise your standard pepper rice with beef is good too. Haven't tried the curry mixes yet.
Not worth the price. They cut my steak before letting it rest so the juices squirted out Bad tasteless, hard, under seasoned porterhouse steak. The chips and free garlic sauce were the tastiest parts of my meal. Very sad
We got charged separately for items rather than a meal deal when we explicitly requested it. Then my wife had an altercation with the manager and the staff rudely threw a few coins in our hands citing it would sufficiently cover for the difference. Overall, rude staff and salty food. Definitely won’t return. Not recommended.
4 stars for the speedy service. My classic beef pepper steak dish came out 2 minutes after I ordered it. I hadn't even settled into my chair yet : The place to come to for, as they say, meals on express. Mostly rice dishes on a hot plate but have a good look at the menu to find something else that suits. Located in the relatively new dining precinct above the Chatswood train station, it's quite spacious with plenty of available seating and tables. Recommend, for those times you need to rush or to chill too :
Always a good, simple meal at PepperLunch! It’s quick, reasonably price, and always hits the spot. All meals come on a Hot Sizzling Cast Iron Plate so you can cook your food for however long you want and it keeps it hot. The trick here when you order is to ask your rice to be put on the Hot Plate prior to receiving it with cheese on top. Will I Come back?: I have on numerous occasion. It’s a good simple go to when you just want Rice and Meat
Very delicious food. The trio steak set allows you to try a sample of 3 different types of steaks. They all taste great so all 3 are my favourites
Japanese food in a fancy food court in chatswood. Good experience, nice vibe and great food. We ordered the chicken kimchi pepper rice with cheese and the beef kimchi pepper rice with cheese. Loved both the dishes. Previously I ordered the jumbo beef peeper rice which was a bit overpriced for the quantity. But definitely ordering the kimchi cheese pepper rice again on my next visit.
Perfect place to grab quick lunch on a working day. The food is good and decent portion size for one. I ordered the curry chicken rice with cheese served on a hot plate which was great for a cold afternoon! Quick and friendly service from the staff.
