Story

The owner of Fuji Yama Teppanyaki Restaurant was one of the first Teppanyaki chef in Sydney since 1978. In 1988 he had opened the first Teppanyaki style restaurant in Wollongong and is popular and well known in the region. It continues today and attracts many regular customers both local and from overseas. With many years of experience in Japanese Teppanyaki, the owner has decided to bring his fusion of traditional and fresh modern style to Sydney.

Great place, friendly staff. Although the service is sorta slow. Although extremely cheap and they have some amazing food.
Had the Teriyaki chicken #43 on the menu. You can order small or large, $8 and $10 respectively. I ordered large serving and it sure was large, and delicious. I'll be back!
Food is ok but absolutely horrible service. The look on their face was like you own them money. It almost like the staff gonna jump out of counter and punch you on the face if you want some more napkins. Never seen anyone in hospitality industry with such horrible attitude since the end of the Communists.
Ordered miso soup with some other items from uber eats and received modified miso powder sachet instead. I think this sachet represents what they are actually cooking in kitchen.
The salmon don is the best out of all the Japanese restaurants in Sydney ! Good price and nice staff are such a bonus : highly recommended
Went there with the family. Is in the Mandarin Centre in Chatswood. Had chicken curry, teriyaki and wagyu beef. Big servings priced around $10. All our meals were restaurant quality, not like your normal shopping centre food.
Chicken katsu curry had a generous serving of curry and rice, but the curry lacked flavor and the chicken did not taste fresh. Ordered takoyaki which tasted like it had been microwaved. Black tonkatsu ramen was ok in flavor, with soup more on the watery side.
I ordered something from this restaurant by Deliveroo but they never approved the order and then they simply closed the store after one hour of waitng. They are incapable of using technology and customer service does not exist at all. I can imagine their food must be awful and I am glad that I never recieved it. Avoid at all costs
