Always love it here. So nostalgic. I love the old movie posters left up and the old colourful carpet. So sad to hear it’s closing
Beautiful old theatre with lots of character and friendly staff, love having it in our awesome township for locals and guests to enjoy
Wish these guys sold Quillo chips it would be nice to get a better class of potatoe chip to snack on while watching a movie
Love it. Delightfully retro. Love the tiered seating in cinema 3. Good range of movies usually. Nicely uncrowded at times. Best of all, sometimes they skimp on the ads and just play the feature straight off the bat. So, don’t be late.
The cinema was cool and had a retro vibe to it. But they also have a DVD Store where I got such classics as 'Jack The Giant Killer 2013' A Mockbuster of Jack The Giant Slayer. 'Ice Twisters' Rip-off of Twisters and finally 'Airline Disaster!
Cinemas are small, but usually uncrowded unless you go right in the Christmas peak time. You probably wouldn't want to be in any but the back 3 rows, as the others would be too close to the screen to enjoy unless you're into that. The screen size is on the small size but large enough to give you that cinema feel just. Sound seemed decent enough to do the job...
Nice little cinema, plenty of space for larger groups, although it filled up pretty quick during peak times; booking online may be necessary during peak hours for popular movies. Tickets only costed $9.50 each if movie is at or before 9am. After that, they are still reasonably priced, around $15. Food is just as expensive as larger cinemas. Projection and sound quality was of a good standard. Staff weren't very friendly or talkative, didn't provide a very good customer experience, just did the minimum required. Seating placement was a bit strange, as even though the cinema was basically empty, we were placed at the very back, over to the far side.
The theatre was decent enough. But THE LOST CITY was horrible. That made the experience not that great
One of the few classic cinemas left. Small but comfortable cinemas.
Poor customer service with no offering of compensation after being told we could bring food into the cinema only to be told we would have to consume it outside in the cold.
