My wife's Peugeot 206 GTI had a chronic problem with the steering causing car to veer to the left at certain conditions. Numerous inspections couldn't determine the source of problem. The last mechanic from serious workshop after whole day of failed attempts advised us to visit Pedders in South Melbourne. Those guys very soon found the problem, and it was a very serious one likely to be of catastrophic nature. They sourced a replacement part for a very low price and repaired the car charging less then the previous mechanic who gave up on finding the problem. Thanks Pedders South Melbourne, Thank you very much.

Excellent service. $28 safety check identified several items I was suspicious of on a 20 year old car. Was told what should be replaced straight away and what could wait. They showed me the worn parts. The new parts made a massive difference. I don't feel like I'm in a jalopy anymore. Price was as expected and I actually felt I got an honest price compared to a lot of other of my experiences elsewhere. I’d definitely recommend these guys.

Went in the other day to get a wheel alignment as i upgraded my suspension. Not happy at all considering i payed $120 for front & rear alignment, i asked only to do the front alignment, pedders guy said he won't do the car if i do only the fronts, he said "I have to set the front and rear to drive straight,otherwise i won't do it". So i thought ok, il do back also that way it should drive straight 100% and i know these guys will do a good job. i know most wheel alignment places don't do good jobs as i used to work at a tyre place when i was younger, and the boss would always delay our machine from regular services (being calibrated). I came all the way to the city to do the alignment based on the reviews this place has. there is no excuse they can say will throw out the alignment, my suspension is good, tyres are perfect and have the correct psi in them. I am lead to the conclusion that the reviews on here are fake, or people don't know any better and get sucked in to the act of the worker treating his job as its his passion. My car drives worse now that i have done the alignment, i can't be bothered going in to complain as i have to take anther day off work, and waste another 2 hours to do a job that should of been done properly the first time. These guys were amazing. After 2 weeks of 4wding around Tasmania we did the bearings stranding us an hour away from Davenport. We got towed to Spirit of Tasmania and then towed from the Spirit to Pedders. These guys took our car straight off the boat fit us in, fixed the bearings and spindle and had us back on the road within 2 days. You guys took the stress out of us getting home with little to no effort at all. Thank you so much for fantastic service and workmanship. You guys rock. Darren
