We use to buy everything for our business from here. Went in today and did the leave your expensive bag on the floor thing… but what topped that was waiting in line I was so patient and this young guy finally came along - didn’t bother to check who was waiting the longest and went to serve the guy behind me.. this caused me and that customer an unneeded argument all because your staff couldn’t be bothered asking who was waiting the longest basic etiquette and beyond that once I did get help it seemed my questions were exhausting the staff member…… The store manager here use to be awesome and the team seemed to follow his leadership and acted like an awesome bunch of guys …has there been a restructure ? It’s becoming a place to avoid … what’s happened guys ? Was such a loyal customer now looking elsewhere …
Some staff members were really helpful, others felt like they just didn't want to be there so didn't bother finding out the info we asked about. Store felt unorganised send we had to go the 3 different areas to look at one type of product. The 3 stars are for the friendly staff member that helped with an enquiry we had when other member said he didn't know and avoided having to look on the computer.
Annoying to find parking for if you drive in as rooftop carpark is tiny and very cramped and on street parking is limited and not free. Once in the shop though PB Tech is well stocked staff are helpful. Prices can be quite good when they are having a sale.
Best place ever for all things computer related. You can order online and just call in and collect, or go in and browse. Sales team are very knowledgeable.
This review is for the call centre of PB tech Wellington. I called them just a few minutes ago, followed instructions, put on hold, then was told by the automated system that no one could take my call. Why do you have a call centre if no one’s picking up????. Seriously annoying and pointless. Mind you I was going to enquire about a camera, which isn’t cheap. I really hope the clowns at pb tech read this and learn that they need to either have no calling service or hire someone to pick up the dam phone.
Terrible service. Bought a soundbar, had numerous faults with it so took it back for a refund or replacement. Pbtech claim to have tested it and found no fault so refuse to remedy the situation. Basically calling me a liar. I'm going to get video evidence of the faults and instruct my lawyer to take this further. Do NOT recommend PBtech to anyone.
Great store, has instore service centre, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Note this store is the only separate franchise store in the PBTech chain. I've been told all the other stores around the country are owned by Auckland
Great range of goods at very reasonable prices. Dropped the one star as the staff gave the distinct impression of being forced to work there - not friendly at all and over worked, although they did do the basics OK. Go there for the goods, not for the staff experience!
It's one of the only stores to buy parts in person, although the layout has changed, so it is very inconvenient that pc parts can no longer be browsed in person, it makes comparing parts more complicated and forces you to talk to a sales person which can come off as pushy at times
Staff are welcoming and generally knowledgeable about what they're selling and its capabilities. Prices are okay... I generally order pricier items from overseas, granted there is a consequent long wait time. If you need stuff now, it's not the worst place you can go to.
