I wasn’t going to leave a review to complain about the state of the store, but when the checkout lady rolled her eyes at me for asking how much each item I was going to purchase was I changed my mind. Store is an absolute mess, so it’s impossible to know how much anything actually is - which I figured was fair enough given their sales model, but I also figured it was then fair enough to ask the price of an item at the checkout. Apparently not! Also overheard other staff complaining to each other about “having to unlock the change room when that won’t fit her anyway” about another shopper. Appalling attitude and behaviour, such a shame because prices and range was good although disorganised!
Great prices but it's chaos in there...stuff everywhere...make sure you have at least an hour or two on your hands. Most of the staff are not very friendly. Only 2 change rooms which means you are waiting for a change room most of the time. Beware of the price tags too...very deceiving...3 prices on the one tag so you assume that it's the lowest one but not always the case...check the dates that the prices are valid otherwise expect a surprise at the cashier and if you are not looking at what is going through you might become a victim to their price tag scam...they hope you aren't paying attention at the cashier and then when everything has been put through they shock you with the total and most people will just go ahead and pay without saying anything because they have been in there for so long or they don't notice until later or for whatever other reason but to put it in plain black and white, their price tag system is a scam...don't fall victim to it...be aware!
A Friday evening I trekked to this place hoping retail therapy would ease the stress of a long week. Oh boy, organization is a word I have to bestow with great difficulty. Shoes were competitively expensive!! Picking a suitable pair of pants or shirt was another adventure in itself. I finally picked a casual shirt cos I spent close to 2 hours n leaving empty handed would have seemed bad to me!
The layout might look messy but there are really really good deals. You just need a bit of patience and time. Only 2 fitting rooms and you will need the staff to help unlock it for you. Not really an issue for me. Bus stops just outside, pretty easy to find. Paid parking is available if I'm not wrong.
Big with lots of stuff off varying quality and price. It's as organised as it can be and it looks like the staff try. I found a pair of business trousers at a great price. I'll definitely go back to check it out more when I have more time.
They advertise on Facebook with such a great deal and there is always sale on. But I felt it quite messy around. Things are organized in a good way, still you have to put lots of afford to find proper thing. Though some stuffs are from good brand, but they don't look so appealing. May be it's for their lighting or may be interior is not that good, for which it gives an impression of 2nd hand items or rejected one. Contrary the store is huge and have lots of collection. If they make some effort to interior and organizing things, it may turn into a very good option where you can have quality items in cheap rate.
Good range of clothing and shoes.. once you can find them amongst the mess! 2 senior Staff members were dismissive and frankly a bit arrogant.. the younger ones are fine. So yea good products but unfortunately poorly managed and disorganised.. has potential to be a great shop
Paul’s warehouse in Adelaide is by far the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. -Second hand items at higher prices. -They’ll overcharge you to what the price is stated on the rack, and try to argue with you if you notice and tell them otherwise. -Not all of the clothes are authentic branded and you pay a higher price where you can get them same price or cheaper at an authentic shop. -It’s unorganised, messy and the staff don’t know where stuff is. -The warehouse is a mess with broken floor tiles/holes, and my partner stepped on a pin that went through his shoe into his foot. -The staff seemed rude when buying our clothing first time round. -We went to check/return an item after buying because we were mislead about the price, and an item was almost not put back in the bag afterwards. **ONLY positive we experienced was how nice and understanding the manager was when we went back to get a refund.
Check you bag before you get out of the store to make yourself sure that all that you have paid for is in there. I was there on the 26th of Nov and when I got home notice that one item was missing. I rang and agreed with some one to go back the next day, when I got there no one has any idea what I was talking about, they took photocopy of my receive and said that they were going to check the security camera and ring me back. I haven't heard from them. Good products/price if you are able to take home all that you had paid for.
I love Pauls. I buy all my Vans there. Recently picked up a Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger dresses. Yes the place could use a spruce up but the prices are great and there is a variety of merchandise if you're prepared to spend a few hours looking.
