We went for dim sum at lunch. Overall, the food was generally better quality and tasting than average for dim sum with a few minor issues like an over-fried dough stick in the rice flour roll. Service during a weekday lunch was unexpectedly sub standard. Staff lacked demeanour, which is not a problem in itself but they didn't work together and staff were doing the minimum such as if you asked for a dish and it wasn't that person's job then they will just say they don't personally deal with it and walk off. The food trolleys were brought to tables only once at the beginning and after that you had to keep trying to get someone's attention. This is very uncharacteristic of a dim sum restaurant and it's the first time I've left one without receiving everything we wanted that was actually available. It's a pity because this could be a really good dim sum and Cantonese restaurant. Vegetarian options: There's a few limited vegetarian options. You can get by but there's not much variety and you'll need to confirm they don't add any non-vegetarian sauces such as oyster sauce to stir fried vegetables. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs. Most dumplings and noodles are kid friendly. Parking: No direct parking, but there's street parking as well as parking at the adjacent shopping centre. Wheelchair accessibility: It's wheelchair accessible with no stairs etc.
Enjoyed my quick lunch meal in the restaurant. Plumped prawn dumplings, salt and pepper squid tentacles- a must try and get very tasty, good size portion. Chinese tea is good too. Nice open settings restaurant plenty of seatings.
Ordered over the phone, was not advised of the whopping 15% surcharge and the increase in price of everything we ordered compared to their menu. Food was quite subpar, honey chicken had no sauce, fried rice was just plain rice with some stuff thrown in no sesame, oyster or soy sauce, omelette was alright. Overall would not recommend.
The portions were spot on. The crispy pork and duck was delicious. Only issue that the prawns were too salty for my liking. We enjoyed the crab meat corn soup and the traditional sweet and sour soup. Overall the wait time was on par for a busy Father's Day. We will be back for Dim Sum :Food: 5/5
I really didn’t enjoy this Chinese. Takeaway lunch special - BBQ combination rice. Lacked flavour and the pork was chewy and dry. The sauce on the rice was very plain. I didn’t enjoy the salad with the meat & rice. A lunch special of $20 is very expensive considering the lack of quality.
Not bad at all. It's the dimsum experience and the food is good. If you're in the northern suburbs you don't have to travel too far to satisfy your hankering for BBQ pork or steam prawn dumplings. Located on outside on the north side of Lakeside Shopping centre Grand Boulevard, so very accessible. I'd go again and I do recommend this place.
This used to be such a good Chinese restaurant, my favourite in Perth in fact. I ordered through Uber Eats tonight and it was rubbish. The food was far from fresh, and all I could taste was oil and grease. I believe it's much better to dine in here than get takeaway.
Was a little expensive but worth every dollar. The food was fantastic, from the garlic prawns to the sizzling pepper beef. But their salt and pepper Calamari is a must try, my favourite dish of the night for sure.Food: 5/5
Edible, but that’s the best I can say. First time visiting in many years but was not impressed. Dishes were edible but all bland and flavourless - all required substantial doses of chilli oil to get much flavour out of them. Won’t be back any time soon, unfortunately.
My husband and I ordered by Uber eats noddles and a rice. There were dry, bland, and cold. To much money for nothing! No recommended at all!
