We enjoyed one of the set menu options, which seemed to be very popular with other patrons, and we were not disappointed. Authentic Turkish food, generous portion, and amazing taste. Attentive staff, incredible interior design, and nice vibe. Highly recommended! Unbelievably delicious - every single dish is full of flavour and perfectly cooked. We will be back!
It was a nice area very clean and well managed staff. However I'm not sure if it was just because it was a busy night, but the food was pretty bad. The entrees were a 4.5/5 as they looked great and tasted great with fresh warm bread. However the main course was not the best, 2.3/5. The lamb had a burnt flavour and crust, but the chicken was soft and tender yet it didn't have much flavour. The desserts I can't say much as they were ordered. Overall,I would give a 2.8/5 but I really wanted it to go well as I heard very good things and it was full for the night. Still had a great time with a great atmosphere.

It has been running for decades. Busy and delicious Turkish foods in Newtown. Love their dips mix plate which you can try different tastes.Recommended dishesDips
I am absolutely surprised with the quality and taste of this restaurant, one of the best dinners I have had in my whole time in Sydney… All I have to say is just Go and try. I will be back soon. Also the staff member who served us was great, explaining all the menu and really attentive. Congratulations guys
Delicious Turkish food in a cosy setting. We had the chicken sish which came with 4 skewers of juicy, grilled chicken as well as the yogurt kebab. Couldn't decide between the yogurt kebab or the lamb shank so we asked the server owner? for a rec. He immediately said yogurt kebab and was spot on. We loved the cubes of toasted Turkish bread was layered with shaved lamb, yogurt sauce and a bright red sauce. Note that the menu is very lamb-heavy with just about 2 chicken and 2 veg mains. It was a full house when we visited on Saturday so bookings are recommended.

Beautiful food, great service, the abundance of traditional leadglass lights, ceramics and vintage copper resonates glimpses of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul and Aunt Ethel's obsession with Copperart. The food was beautiful, light and balanced spices to detract your attention from even the most engaging of dinner conversations.... that is until the explosion of music from crackling speakers that desperately need replacing and a volume button that needs turning down as the obligatory belly dancer explodes out of the kitchen like a cyclone whirling and gyrating her way between tables, taking no prisoners as her arms and veils threaten to take out hapless diners, low hanging lights and ill placed wine bottles alike, good times, even Aunt Ethel, who is deaf as a post, would have been enthralled. Finish the experience with some Turkish coffee that will have you caffeinated till next week and you too will give it a solid 3 thumbs up
Nice and good food with great Raki drink, nice staff and welcoming atmosphere and great design. One of the bests.
