My wife's new favourite in Broadway, the portion is big, the taste also great especially the grilled one, the fresh salad nicely complements the "heavy" food. Staffs also helpful and friendly.
Good place if you wanna enjoy some Turkish food. Pizzas and kebabs are too good. Friendly staff, cards and cash accepted. Street parking with ticket.
stays open till 3am great for a quick bite after drinking. very limited choices though not happy at all for this.
Tasty and delicious kebabs, and some of the best fries I have ever eaten. This olace sells a wide variety of Turkish takeaway, and you can eat in too. Kebabs, pide, fallafel, vine leaves, and all the other tasy Turkish delights are here. Must do. Must eat. Salivating just thinking about it.

Istanbul is an unpretentious Turkish place on King St Newtown. I have been a patron for decades. It can be relied upon time and time again. The meals are great deals. Not overpriced. It is not Maxim's in Paris, but it doesn't pretend to be. While I do not recommend the pizzas, the pides are good.
Popular and very busy Turkish food place in newtown. Kebabs, burgers, pizza & pide, Turkish breads and dips, fantastic! Try the babaganush. Service was fast and friendly for such a busy shop and I guess the business reflects the quality of food, as there is a lot of competition on this street.
