Partners Life is a Great NZ Owned Insurance Company. I am an Insurance Adviser and I have my own Cover with them. They have been FANTASTIC to deal with, with my own claims, and for each and every claim of our clients. They have very comprehensive products which generally means more opportunity to claim. To all those who have had a negative experience with Partners Life I would say that mishaps do happen of course and it is sad that you have had a bad experience, but I can say for a certainty that if you get decent advice from a diligent Insurance Adviser up front, you will have a nice experience with this company.

Terrible customer service, extremely slow to reply to claims and often dont reply at all....

Have my insurance through this company. Have had a couple of claims and they've been great. A friend of mine had a car accident recently and was also insured with them. He said they were amazing and he got a payout way more than he thought he was entitled to. Apparently the additional benefits in his policy enabled him to get the enhanced payout. Glad I'm with them.

Read the fine print. I was under the impression that I was fully covered, only to find out they don't pay for every type of injury and they won't pay out until late four weeks afteright you've had four weeks of work by your doctor then they'll start paying. Frustrating to say the least.

Please avoid this company at all costs. I was talked into going with them over Southern Cross. They rejected every claim initially but after some help from a decent broker did in the end pay out. Did cause a very stressful situation though. Responses were poor, took a long time and on my children were entirely unreasonable. I have never written reviews before which shows my depth of feeling. Hopefully helps others avoid.
