Stayed in our motorhome again, good sites, number 29 which we use all the time and noise level from the main road is not too bad. Went to the restaurant for tea on Saturday night, the staff are great. Kaysha was in charge and what a lovely lady, checked on us and other clients a couple of times. Also Tammy one of the cooks, did my chicken meal, very tender . Thank you. Dianne. Could not leave a review on my phone so using hubbies
We booked a powered site for a campervan, choosing Parklands over several much cheaper alternatives because of the advertised bar and restaurant. We wanted a bit of luxury after lots of camping. We were annoyed that many of the powered sites are far from level. Then we found the bar and restaurant was closed, something not disclosed at check-in. In the morning, we went to use the ablutions at 9 o'clock to find them being cleaned. This should be done after 10 am checkout time. The ablutions were very good. We just felt disrespected
Got here and was told our accommodation was upgraded.nGot to our room and staff had already turned on the heat pump. It will only make sense if you have experienced the cold afternoon's here.nWill definitely be back.
Excellent facilities, the room was perfect for our group, comfy beds, plenty of towels, well stocked kitchenette. Great shared facilities too, clean communal kitchen, bathrooms, laundry. The kids loved the playground with cool inflatable in ground tramp. And private spa. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, guided us to a great swimming spot and helped with all little requests.
Great location for the Tongariro crossing with warm clean showers. Views of the highway and petrol station from the powered site. We chose this place for the spa which was closed whilst we were there… This should’ve been communicated to us prior to booking as we would’ve chosen elsewhere.
