Love this place. 10 minute walk into Turangi, 5 minute walk (in waders) to the closest river pool and probably 5 more pools within 15 minutes walking time. 5 minutes from the Creel Tackle shop and Café. The units are spacious and clean. There is a patio area behind most of them. There is one Parking space per unit but on street parking in the quiet road outside if you need more. The managers are friendly and helpful as are the cleaning staff (we don't want cleaning staff in every day so they come in when we ask). Apart from the odd glitch the WiFi works well.

Genuinely the kindest motel owners I have met in dozens across NZ. Really well set out apartments, with our twin having a separate bedroom, plus a kitchen area and large bathroom (I would disagree with the google description, these are not "basic", they are deluxe apartments). There is also a large covered barbecue area with picnics benches inside. 

If I could recommend a future addition to the motel to the owners, it's that there is plenty of room for a spa hot tub. That would be the icing on the cake!

Very comfortable and excellent value. The next time I am back in town, this is where I will stay. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay. Hosts are very nice. Lovely to stay for the night or a couple. Would come back anytime.

Nice, big rooms and very friendly owners. You can also rent a DVD for free and watch it on your TV. On the downside: sofa was really worn out and should be renewed.

Very clean, good rooms with new furniture. The owner is very kind and always helpful. Very nice place.
