Renting a parking lot for 2 weeks now and only been able to park in it for apprxoimately 2 occasions. Customer service was rude and unreliable. Furthermore, I wasted time looking for a parking space on top of the rent I paid for the lot. Cool tip for anyone reading the review, look up a parkable lot and just park in it free of charge because they wont do anything about it. Dont waste your time , money and expectations of renting a lot under them and just use it for free. Just download the app, look for a non gated parking around your area and park in it. They wont do anything, especially after hours. Trust me, it has been 2 weeks and nothing has been done. They wont even refund me for the days I could not park in my lot. 5 stars reveiw for the free parking people have been capitalising. Everyone should work together and make parkable a free parking app.
My car is currently locked in a carpark as they were unable to send an engineer out to open the gates of the carpark they use as part of their service. Huge inconvenience. I will never use again if I ever get my car back!
Have been using Parkable of years, ever since they moved away from their phone app to manage parking spaces I've had nothing but trouble. The take months to deal with issues and even then nothing gets resolved. Disappointing because I think they have a great idea
Used this app for the first time whilst staying in Auckland to save us some crazy nightly fees with our rental car. App was easy to set up, we had our subscription in minutes and the building gates opened using the app/Bluetooth. I needed help a couple of times and was quick to get customer service, again via the app using messaging. Was great not to have to call anyone especially since we didn’t have a local number. A great solution for rental parking in Auckland! Remember to cancel your subscription one week or month before you need it to, since it cancels one term ahead.
Sophie from australia team is very very rude to talk with.Parkable is supposed to be a parking sharing platform just like car sharing platform. I have my own set of friends, around 13 of my friends are using parkable just because I introduced them to it and I recommended it in the past.Will never recommend it to anyone in future.The sharing motive of parkable has not been taken care of when dealing with me.
Used to love their services. Now they've taken away the functionality of being able to cancel a subscription from the mobile app, instead you'll need to call and be put on a wait queue to cancel! Not 100% sure why but I think we can all guess that they want to put people off from canceling which means more money for themselves. Sad.
As a host I had a very bad experience. I was registered 2 weeks and they suddenly turned off my car park without any reason while a car was parked on my parking spot. That disrupted the booking and the person was charged twice. Everything was going fine before Parkable disrupted the booking. I had no explanation, they were abrupt and offered very little communication, and were not customer friendly at all. They just "brush you off" instead of dealing with problems without telling you what the problem is !!!! Other companies offer the same service with much better customers services and I recommend to everyone to try an alternative to Parkable.
I was parked in the car park in mayoral drive, started at 1844hrs, and then suddenly cancelled my parking at 12midnight. This is not the first time that it happened to me. And now its, 1am and they wanted me to move my car. I am currently at work, and i will nor be allowed to go out til i finish work at 7am. The person i called on the hotline, reason was someone will use that car park at midnight. As i have mentioned earlier, this is the 2nd time that happened to me in the same car park. What a disaster.
Terrible! Do not use their car parks. I paid for 24 hour parking and my car got locked into a parking lot. There is no signage to say that my car will be locked in after 6pm. I was told that I could retrieve my car in the morning and now I am told that I can't get my car out because it is a public holiday. There is no apology or responsibility for the lack of signage and I paid for ALL DAY PARKING!! DO NOT USE!! I am without a car for almost 2 days because of their lack of and confusing signage. Rubbish service.
I wish I knew about Parkable sooner - it has made parking, especially in the CBD a lot less stressful, you can reserve your park for 30 mins before you get there for free so you can guarantee your spot. Great company and great app!
