For a local place to get groceries and a coffee we can't complain. Few stores that have revolved in and out, but the steady ones have been serving the community well.
Parking is easy BUT beware of the parking ticket/fine if you stay longer than 3 hours‼As a local, this has not happen before, but it appears that things have changed. While understanding that commuter parking is an issue for shopping centres, the parking tickets are also an issue if you are likely to spend longer than 3 hours at the Metro Middle Park Shopping Centre. Should you receive one of these parking tickets and you were at the Centre for more than 3 hours, you can dispute it by calling the Centre management: 07 3376 6826. You can also ask in one of the shops or cafes etc you are in for a ticket from the Centre cleaner to display on your car if you will be there for longer than 3 hours, and so avoid a parking ticket or having to call Centre Management to dispute this. What IS needed is clear signage at the entrances to Metro Middle Park Shopping Centre explaining this option so customers are aware of what they can do to avoid parking fines while at the Centre. The management needs to remember that Mount Ommaney shopping centre is only minutes away, and dissatisfied customers will not hesitate to make that choice. It is also worth management remembering that some commuter parking means that people have probably purchased coffee & breakfast before they hop on a bus, and will do their grocery and maybe evening meal shopping at the Centre before they head home. Here's hoping common sense prevails.
