Coffee was very nice but the banana bread I'd heard so much about wasn't all that special. Some of the other cakes looked good so maybe I'll try them if there is a next time.

There's no doubt that the Papa Bear experience is unique. The food, service and drinks are all worthy of a 5 star rating considering the size of the venue. But the atmosphere what makes this place tremendous. The owner and his kids are almost always there and ready to chat or play. It's a great little cafe with lots of heart.

Excellent coffee. There are many options for that in Eltham now, but the small Papa Best is a good option to take. Cozy and outdoor seating, being in a covered walkway, is shielded from any possible weather events.

Best Eltham cafe. Always have a range of gluten free options. Good coffee and service. Lots of regular customers. New owner since December. Menu and coffee quality unaffected.

Quaint little hidden away place with a friendly home style feel. Relaxed food and atmosphere yet still tastey and welcoming. It is inside a walkthrough strip and seating is limited so great for couples but not groups
