Platforms 3 and 4 are big, so there is no way a bus will stop on the full platform, but they don't tell you where exactly on the platform your bus will stop which makes things a bit hard. On the Southbound Platform, the escalators aren't side by side which is a bit weird as it is harder to know which escalator goes up and which escalator goes down. The escalators on the City bound platform however are side by side which makes things much easier. The station building is visually appealing, and of a high standard. The Station can be entered from Ellerslie-Panmure Hwy or Mountain Road. There are 5 platforms, 2 rail and 3 bus. Great station overall, however like I said, bus platforms need to give more accurate information.

If AT could increase the frequency of train & bus service atleast in the peak time from 10mins to 5mins then it shld be very good. Also pls put a AT hop-card barrier in all the train stations.

PLS REVISE and reduce the Train & Bus $$ fair. So that local pepole will attract and prefer to travel in public transport. Also we could reduce smoke free Auckland. Thankyou.

There are no ticket barriers at this station. Therefore you are forced to rely on remembering to "tag off/off". Auckland transport cannot possibly imagine that this is a long term solution. Can they!? I saw them in the centre at Britomart so why on earth are they not using them at the peripheral stations?

Also the bus station was a little confusing for your average person as they did not bother to inform you where exactly the bus would stop.  The station is approximately 100 metres long, which, if the bus only stops for a short while would result in a difficult challenge for a physically limited person to get from one end of the station to the other in time. No I was only there one time, the bosses seem to ignore the numbering system which had been installed anyway, I'm just stopped wherever they felt like it.

Aside from this issue, it was a modern clean station with ticket and vending machines.

One of the important bus and train interchange in the area. Bus and trains are available till 10.30 pm on weekdays and till midnight on weekends.

Very convenient and transferring is a breeze. However, there is not much signage or clear directories, which makes it very confusing for someone who is new to the station.
