We came for the live music which was great Brad Ledwidge but hung out in the sports bar afterwards and was super impressed by the service of the bar staff think his name was Tyson. Lovely guy, very helpful with the wine list. I'll be back for sure. All the staff are super welcoming and friendly.

250g Rump Steak $29:nYou can choose 1 sauce peppercorn out of 4 and 2 sides chips, mashed potato out of 4. Medium rare is no doubt the best steak doneness out of all, the steak is almost completely lean but lowkey I enjoy the fat too. The chips are so well fried that they taste extra crunchy and delicious.nMashed potatoes are also tasty and fresh.nBesides, if you order rump steak on Tuesday, not only it’s $7 cheaper but also includes beer.nnOverall, reasonable prices, located in the heart of Palm Beach, decent service staff,ngreat portion size, 9 out of 10!
After circling a nearby public car park for quite some time we waited for a car to reverse, we were about to take the available space when a staff member from this pub cut in and took it. Frustrating, we yelled out our disgust, then we moved on and went to lunch elsewhere.nnAbout an hour later, we went to the bar for drinks—only to realise the same staff member was working. She refused to serve us outright. No discussion, no attempt to resolve anything. We asked to speak with a manager, who told us we would need to apologise before they would serve us. Given the situation, we declined—and were then refused service entirely.nnSo to summarise: a staff member behaves poorly outside the venue, then denies service inside it, and management backs that decision rather than handling it professionally.nnThere’s a clear lack of basic customer service and accountability here. If this is how they treat paying regular customers over something so minor, I’d strongly recommend going elsewhere.
Stayed here for 2.5 weeks after moving to the Gold Coast - staff were all super friendly and helpful! Cleaners were extremely friendly, did an excellent job and massively improved the quality of my stay. Shared bathrooms were always clean, and there was a good variety of amenities like a fridge, microwave and kettle.
